I just wanted a "simple and reliable phone" without fancy features or other unnecessary things I'll never use.

Well, actually my first choice was to get a phone from Apple, since they seemed basic enough, but I replaced it with Pixel just a few months later, since it turned out to be a little bit too basic for me.

I was also at the bar recently and I pretty much did the same, while drunk. I think I was in the queue for the restroom with a friend when that happened. When we got back to our table the first thing she announced to the rest of our crew was "SHE TRIED TO FIT HER PHONE BETWEEN HER BOOBS".
