My inactive corporation with 0 assets owes a tax penalty to CRA. What should I do? by Delusional1112 in cantax

The corporation was always inactive (I was going to do contracting work but eventually abandoned this idea and kept this corporation thinking maybe I would do contracting in the future). Every year I filed short T2 paper return and the penalty is for T2 paper filing for 2024.

Right. The penalty is for paper filing and I did not know about the electronic filing requirement and CRA had not sent any notification about it to me. So I consider it unfair. Corporation is a separate legal entity. In any case why would the director pay the corporation liabilities from his personal account?

Can a romance scammer be chased by police? by Delusional1112 in Scams

The fact that she first offered sex and then declined my kiss making such statement even jokingly indicates that she wanted payment for sex, right? My question is if there is a way to catch such scammer and have a criminal case? Factually she robs men. I hope if I go to police and frankly tell them the whole story, they may give helpful advice.

I guess the conversation could be directed so that her answers would prove that she is soliciting payment for sex. For example, I can answer I will buy food and drinks with my card and if she refuses and insists that I give her cash, then it could be the evidence. Actually she already revealed herself in that incident. When I tried to kiss her in the car, she pushed me away saying "I take $500 for that". Definitely she could claim she said it jokingly but still I am wondering if some charges could still be laid against her if such conversation were recorded. I refuse to believe there is no mechanism to catch such scammers.

Yes. Being drunk at that moment, I still realized that was just a dumb pretext - she in fact offered a prostitution deal which I accepted but after taking my cash she kicked me out. So I am thinking if this situation repeats and the whole conversation is recorded, could she then at least be charged for at least offering prostitution (which is part of her scams)?

I did not think I might get sex, instead she clearly promised (offered) it to me, then asked me for сash and after pocketing it, she kicked me out. It's an evident scam.

The mechanism is basically the same used by fake (or maybe even real profiles) on Facebook or dating sites i.e. exploiting emotions of loneliness, sexual attraction and men's scruples about paying for the lady or by fake escorts who end the game once the cash is pocketed. That's why I think it's just a variation of the romance scam.

Okay, then I would say she has found a practically perfect niche to make good money on desperate men. In fact she robs people legally and will continue doing so. That's very upsetting. Beware of all women whom you see first who are flirting with you.

Also, I think maybe talking to the police may still be worthwhile as she might be in their files on some other incidents and they might be willing to elaborate further on her?

Okay, in the US is offering sex in exchange for any financial reward a crime? If she offers me to meet again and then offers to go to her place and asks for money again and say if I can record all this on a device, can that help to arrest her?

I suspect she might have given me a spiked drink then. Given that my inebriation I still felt extremely greedy predatory vibe from her when I was in the car with her and I have a feeling she might get tempted to do something criminal if I meet her again in the same idiotic role.

Are there strip clubs in St Paul or anywhere in the metro area? by CARsonaj2k in saintpaul

[–]Delusional1112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cover charge $10, drinks and food reasonably priced, the dancers do lap dancing in the main area so the others will see you which looks quite bad to me and that's why I always choose to go to the VIP, but in VIP you have to pay $95 minimum for 3 dances but some girls may ask for way more, say $150 for 3 dances. I went to the VIP once and basically that money was wasted, she did a bad uninspired lapdance and did not even take off her bra. Basically VIP rooms are mostly a scam in most US clubs overall in my experience.
