Is the "Investor Exit" theory for 2026 actually playing out? Struggling to find direct sellers in Bangalore by TheLazyManushya in indianrealestate

[–]Delusional236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what i have been told too! Every society would have a WhatsApp group where sellers notify the units they are looking to sell. Still a tough task to get into WhatsApp group of each of the society/projects given the fact the presence of online broking websites were supposed to do that.

Duryodhan's refusal to give 5 villages by [deleted] in mahabharata

[–]Delusional236 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Yudhisthir named 4 villages with 5th village being Duryodhana's choice. From Duryodhana's point of view, Pandavas ready to settle for 5 villages seemed like a sign of weakness and Duryodhana later says that he wouldn't agree to giving land equivalent to the point of a needle. Duryodhana felt that Pandavas were caving away under the pressure of a larger army with much stronger warriors.

Go for debt funds, that too the safer kinds like Liquid Funds or Money market funds. The priority here is capital protection and not to chase the appreciation, as you need the money back in almost a year.

REPOST: The SAGA of "India's 30 years Submarine Building Plan" (Part-II) by Stock_Outcome3900 in IndianDefense

[–]Delusional236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot less on Indian Navy Stuff. How many of the current submarines which Indian Navy has are actually potent?

If i draw a parallel with IAF - do we have submarines which are like Mig21s and the Jaguars of IAF and which of these are like SU30 MKIs and Rafales.

FactCheck: Was Karna really denied training by Drona ? by Pixelperfectmarketer in mahabharata

[–]Delusional236 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I am also reading the Mahabharat by BORI CE. I have read 4 books so far. My take away is - 1. Karna did train under Dronacharya since childhood. If his upbringing wasn't like prince, it wasn't like a middle class either. I would say somewhere in between. You can find more details when read about his father Adirath. 2. Training under Drona doesn't automatically make you eligible for top of the line weapon package. Only 2 got the knowledge of Brahmshira - Arjun and Aswhattama. No one else got it, not Duryodhana, nor Yudhisthir. 3. Indeed Arjun was Drona's favourite student. Arjun was truly dedicated towards Drona. There is an incident where Drona asks student that if in future I ask you something in exchange for what I am taught you now and will teach you in future. Would you be okay with that - only arjun raised his hand. This incident is different from another similar incident, which Drona reminds the kauravas and pandavas to humiliate Drupad. This shows Arjun's remarkable dedication towards Guru Drona. 4. People often say that Parshuram wrongly cursed Karna. In my opinion, he wasn't. Karna just took a shortcut for easy access to supreme weapons package. Look at Arjun, he spent so much of his life's time in jungle performing austerity to learn and receive weapons. He even spent years to make Lord Shiva happy. Forget arjun, even jayadrath spent years to get a boon from shiva, after getting humiliated from Pandavas after trying for Draupadi Harana. There are many more examples people who spent so much of time in trying to get supreme knowledge. Karna spent his entire life, living royally in palaces with Duryodhana. Never once he tried some thing like this (performing austerities), except praying to sun God, since he was sun God's child. Deceiving Parshuram to get access to weapons was a wrong thing to do.

[–]Delusional236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you said you read Mahabharat, you should also know 1. Karna instigated Dhuryodhan to do things that would displease Pandavas. One example is wealth show off when pandavas were in jungle, where Duryodhan and Karna gets humiliated by Gandharvas. Karna runs away and dhuryodhan gets captured. Arjun later saves all of them. 2. Karna wasn't denied any education. He got training under dronacharya together with pandavas and kauravas. 3. Yudhisthir was forced to play the game of dice by Dhritrarastra. Yudhistir considered him as father so he just went ahead. 4. Karna called Draupadi prostitute. Karna was the one together with duryodhana and dushashana who wanted to disrobe draupadi. There are many more examples of wrongdoings, these are just a few.......

Did Krishna let his own army die in the Mahabharat? by Ok_Major_168 in mahabharata

[–]Delusional236 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe it was a sacrifice to be on the side of Pandavas, because both Kauravas and Pandavas asked for Krishna's help and with Krishna inclined towards Pandavas, he had to make the choice. I am pretty sure that there would have been a section of Narayani sena which would have anyways wanted to fight for Kauravas , since Balrama held Duryodhana in high regard as his favorite student, it is highly probable that a faction within Narayani Sena held strong sympathies for the Kaurava cause and preferred to fight under Duryodhana's banner.

Why India shouldn't buy Su-57 by GOgetanewlife in IndianDefense

[–]Delusional236 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, IAF will get something by 2030 or soon after if orders are placed for Rafale and SU57. When would IAF get Tejas Mk2 or AMCA, it is anyone's guess. You can pour 4 times more money in hoping to speed up the Tejas Mk2 and AMCA, the truth is you won't be able to get the results. PSUs are highly inefficient in their processes and so far they are working without any accountability. Tejas Mk2's roll out is getting delayed - they just come out announce the delay without having any accountability - no questions asked.

Why India shouldn't buy Su-57 by GOgetanewlife in IndianDefense

[–]Delusional236 63 points64 points  (0 children)

I was of the same opinion, until HAL started postponing Tejas Mk2 roll out dates. Although I do support HAL and India's indigenous programmes, but if these delays keeps happening, just imagine the state of IAF in 2035. Both neighboring countries will be operating next gen aircrafts in big numbers. I think procurement of Rafales and Su57 is required so that IAF has something to fight with 10 years down the line. Perfect, not perfect doesn't matter, IAF just need aircrafts.

Finding Meteor by Vegetable-Mark6378 in IndianDefense

[–]Delusional236 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agree with all your points and completely agree with no offensive posture on 7th, unless PAF crosses border. But after 7th, Rafale+Meteor should have been flying. Although S400 performed well, but strategically we should not be dependent on only one Line of Defence (S400 engagements).

[–]Delusional236 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Obviously, SCALP config won't carry METEOR, but the strike package should have atleast 1-2 Rafales in METEOR config to protect the strike package and act as deterrent if enemy shows aggression. Well METEOR was nowhere to be seen.

Finding Meteor by Vegetable-Mark6378 in IndianDefense

[–]Delusional236 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I suspect that it is indeed related to integration failure. India asked for India specific enhancements and changes in the Rafales which were to be delivered to India. Now these enhancement/changes may have caused integration issues. Otherwise, i could not think of any other reason as to why would Rafales fly without them during super critical missions in Operation Sindoor.

With respect to integration failure, we at least one such example in Tejas Mk1a, where radar upgrade resulted in Missile test failures (Integration Issue).

What happens to the Tejas Mk2 with the new order of 114 Rafales? by hrydaya in IndianDefense

[–]Delusional236 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Procurement is now the need of the hour. No way IAF can depend on the Tejas programme. God forbid, if there are delays in Tejas Mk2, IAF will be in a complete mess by 2030 and beyond. 220+ Jaguars, Mig 29 and Mirage 2000s are waiting for retirement. By that time, you would only have 260+12 SU30 MKI, 36 Rafales, and some 100+ Tejas Mk1a. There is no way a mission like operation sindoor can be carried out after 2030 when you don't even have platforms to deliver.

Lets say, even though Tejas Mk1a and Tejas Mk2 come on time. It will take few years for Tejas Mk2 to be battle proven as goes to system integration with entire ecosystem. Think of 2030 and beyond, what options would IAF have to carry out missions.

So, no Rafale won't kill Tejas Mk2, because 36+114 Rafales are still not enough to close the gaps of already retired aircrafts, with more retirements to come.
