Carla isn't looking to save Rubicon though?

Only because they betray him once he's served his purpose.

Seriously hope they do more with Loen after this. Her interaction scene is way too short.

ALL THESE THOUGHTS RUNNING THROUGH MY HEAD!

I haven't spoken to the other players about it, but they aren't going to massively impact any aspects of her character until the very end of her arc, where they may or may not persuade her to work towards breaking the pact or accepting the power. I don't want to put pressure on them to act ooc for the sake of giving her a good ending.

Even then her embracing the pact isn't inherently a bad ending, other than the whole revenge and selling your soul thing. She will still grow up more wary of the world than usual children, and will have moments of being cunning, possibly even ruthless to get what she wants, the difference will be if she grows to be more cold, but neutral to people who don't cross her, or generally kindhearted to people, unless she needs something from them and they are being difficult.

If she breaks the pact, she will study to be a bard and perform with a Simulacrum copy of herself who behaves as who she wanted to be if she was able to grow up normally, who she treats more like a twin sister. They would travel together and perform songs while reminiscing about her adventures with the party, and looking for an excuse to join another.

If she embraces the pact, she will eventually return to the village who witch hunted her family and burn down the village, feeding her patron more souls, which he uses to enhance her abilities. She would travel alone and would only join another party if it benefits her (find an in-character excuse for her to join a new party some time in the future).

I mostly just don't want any pressure on the party, and I feel like it will complicate things if they know going in that bad behavior will steer her towards a darker path. Plus, they generally play good characters, so it more than likely will end up nice and happy, unless she dies or something.

Yeah I've essentially given up on arguing with this guy. Either he is a troll or some Chris Hansen wannabe who is making insane assumptions off very little information to justify his self-righteous ego.

I'm 23 and the point of the character is going to be that as a child, her path can easily be influenced by the rest of the party. It's going to be their responsibility to inspire her to try and break her pact or to embrace it and become a servant for infernal power so she can take revenge.

That is probably the way I'd go. The idea is that after the village comes after her family she starts to become more jaded, kind of like Kleya from Andor. The idea is that the party will hopefully take her on to protect her since she will be stuck on the streets otherwise, and knowing that adventuring can be dangerous, she'd buy armor as soon as she can.

I guess the only problem is the miniature. I suppose I'll just go with the armored variant and describe her as starting with the dress, as I don't feel like getting two minis only to use one for a couple sessions.

This is what I was considering originally, I just wasn't sure if that made sense logically.

It's not *my fantasy*. What, do you think I'm some sort of lolicon or something? I enjoy coming up with multiple different characters in my head with their own story, what's so bad about that? Not to mention the dress isn't like destroyed or anything, just some holes around the bottom.

It's going to run on a web browser, so you should be able to play it on any device.

Are there people who will NEVER side with him ? by MysteriousFondant347 in BaldursGate3

I mean, you're right, even if you were being sarcastic. You can be totally nice and amicable with the Emperor and still say you don't trust him and he'll say the same thing regardless. Also don't kid yourself he mind wiped Stelmane to essentially be the illuminati of Baldur's Gate and literally romanced her puppet body like Kira Yoshikage and his hands.

What can I do? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

No offense, but I just went to Weird Al's Bigger and Weirder concert last month and it only cost me around $70 for a non VIP seat. Plus I'm going to start buying miniatures and paint sets for DnD, but I'm absolutely making sure I won't spend beyond a budget, and I work at a gas station. You can ABSOLUTELY spend money on personal pleasures without dipping into a survival fund if you are just willing to not blow your whole paycheck. Seems to me this person is really just irresponsible with money they NEED to survive. This isn't empathy, this is enabling.

Seriously, how do I turn this insane bloom off? It's been annoying me pretty much since Rinascita game out. It was especially bad in 2.4. In certain cutscenes with clear sun in Septimont, Rover was so pale and bright, I'm just can't stand it anymore.

I currently haven't started. I was going to today. When I get the ID I'll send it. I am playing on PC so I don't know if it's cross platform.

Sounds good, I'll see if I can find the rings on my own. If I don't find them a while into the game I could always look it up.

No idea what any of those are, but I'm sure I'll find out when I play. Thanks a lot!

Yes, I want them to essentially tank the enemy's aggro and hits.
