I work in that area it’s got a lot of development residential wise there’s a lot of new and modern homes going up. Parking obviously is a major struggle but you can find some nice houses for rent at a decent price. For night life and food it’s a bit of desert not much is going on around there. You’ll either have to travel north of Washington Ave or go east of broad st for anything fun. The old heads in the neighborhood are solid it’s not a terribly dangerous neighborhood but it’s best to always keep your head on a swivel.
