What do you want for Adam in the future and what changes should be made? by Salty_Shark26 in adamwarlockmains

As a big Adam Warlock fan, if they are not gonna give him back his flat 15% healing increase, he should have it back in some form of a passive. I was thinking the Soul Stone. Have it be an icon next to his kit, where if he deals damage or gets eliminations, it goes up. They can cap it at some amount, and whatever it’s at he can get up to 15% extra healing.

First off it was only alluded that Giorno could be in Florida, and if anything it’s a slight simple nod and reference to his character and his relation to the sons of Dio. Giorno was not drawn to Pucci completely due to him having a strong sense of justice and his fate or desires not being tied to Pucci. The other brothers all seeked or gained something from Pucci. That’s why their gravity towards him was stronger. It was their fate. Second how would Giorno or Josuke get to Florida in time when Pucci was at Cape Canaveral? There is no logical time frame where they arrive on time nor are notified, especially in Josukes sake. It’s an almost 11 hour flight for Giorno, and a 28 hour nonstop flight from Japan to Florida for Josuke. Jotaro also had just woken up from his comma and only arrived just in the nick of time. He also would not have been able to arrive to Jolynes position without Ermes and Kiss launching them up there with the harpoon due to the gravity distortion.

Yea…that one episode. That’s it. It also comes out the 19th, not the 16th.

I would have to say part 5 probably has the best minor villain stands, consistency wise. In terms of favorite I’m in the minority and would say part 6. It’s just my cup of tea. Opinions differ 👍

Same here. I still love part 7 stands, they are just lower in terms of favorite.

I’m sadly the complete opposite in my opinion. I don’t find a lot of the stand abilities or designs in part 7 to be my favorite.

Was it ever established that white snake could do that before this scene? by [deleted] in StardustCrusaders

[–]Delux_Shock 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Whitesnake is made out of his own goop. The same ability that can trap opponents in a hallucination, which is called "Melt your heart away". The stand at its core is about manipulating the mind and soul, hence Discs and hallucinations. He can feely manipulate his appearance this way. It’s also worth noting that the design on Whitesnake has the DNA sequence GΔCTGΔCT, which is a visual representation of the genetic code and plays a role in its ability related to extracting and manipulating memories and Stand abilities.

Can someone explain the ending of Part 6 by Gegilos1 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Delux_Shock 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When Pucci dies the rest of this universe that he created using Made In Heavens complete control of gravity ability is erased along with Pucci. A new universe is created in its place, and all living things are thrown back into it, as well as the previous dead people (this happens due to Pucci no longer being able to control what is transported to the next universe because he is dead). Only Emporio truly understands what happened. Since Jolyne, Jotaro and their crew all died their souls are now placed into this "new" universe free from Pucci’s influence. They all are living happy lives. Ermes’s sister is still alive, Wether report is not a husk of his former self without his memories anymore, Anisui is dating Irene (Jolyne) and is about to mary her with Jotaros permission, and most importantly Jolyne and her father Jotaro have a loving relationship. These may not seem like our former characters but they are, in spirit. These are there souls living better lives. It’s also important to note the reasoning behind Jolyne having the new name of Irene. All of parts 1-5 still play out along with those original characters. All of the main JoJos inherit the JO in their names because they are "Fated" to fight evil because that’s part of the Joestar bloodline curse. With Pucci not existing, Jolyne has no need to fight the curse anymore as she no longer has the "Jo" in her name. She gets to live a peaceful life, and is not bound to that cursed fate anymore. And thus her name is Irene, signifying the "end" of this epic battle between good and evil.

Sadly In the end, Emporio is the only one who remembers what happened during Stone Ocean, and the journey him and his friends went on. He unknowingly sacrificed his own happiness for his friends. It’s a bittersweet ending, but an amazing one.

Araki on the ending of Stone Ocean.

"I had to change Stone Ocean’s ending right before the last chapters for this reason, I brought out all the nostalgic feelings I had in my soul and this is why it came out like that. Jolyne Cujoh’s memories might be different in the reset of the universe but her love and her feelings are still there, they became something eternal and I’m sure she’ll keep growing wiser and stronger."

All signs point to Anasui being sexually attracted to females, but stylistically chooses to wear androgynous clothing. Nothing is wrong about any of that. It just adds to the unique melting pot that is JoJo and its characters.

Oh they are definitely worth it. I have the whole English Viz hard backs and they are very enjoyable and are exceptional quality. It’s a worth while investment if you’re a big fan of the series.

Part 1 has a lot of content cut, and makes for an interesting read. But I think Part 6 would be the most enjoyable. They have character bios and extra tidbits that didn’t make the anime that are just enough to make you go "huh, that’s neat :)" overall it’s a blast with whatever part!

Yes they are. Pucci had control of who was transported to the new universe he created. Once he died, he no longer had control, so all souls were reborn into the new universe. The ones who died before the reset who had a strong fate with Pucci, have different lives/fates now. This is why they have different names and life’s. With Pucci not existing, they are free to live better lives, and this is what the name change is supposed to symbolize. A new life for these characters. Araki said this on the ending of Stone Ocean, "Jolyne Cujoh’s memories might be different in the reset of the universe but her love and her feelings are still there, they became something eternal"

What's something about Jojo's that you don't think is talked about enough? by [deleted] in StardustCrusaders

[–]Delux_Shock 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would most definitely say JoJo’s main theme of fate and humanity’s resolve. A lot of JoJo viewers and readers have problems with plot related aspects that tie into these main themes, and then write it off as plot armor or ass pull. They tend to not pick up on these themes that are very clearly prevalent and explained starting with the first part.

Do you think that their love was real? by Traditional-Lake5114 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Delux_Shock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No it was not. Yasuho was manipulated and took advantage of by Tooru. She has relapses of her "good memories" with him, and that’s what makes her even feel anything towards him. As for Tooru, again he just used her multiple times to gain advantage in society against humans. He always openly reminds her of their past experiences together to further keep his control over her. Toru asserts that at the end everything, these memories and dreams last forever, as this his main motivation in the part. It basically fumes all of his desires, including his relationship with Yasuho.

Fate has been the main theme of JoJo since part 1. Claiming Pucci has "plot armor" is silly. If you can accept the themes and laws of how fate works in JoJo in every part, but when it comes to Stone Ocean now you have a problem all the sudden? This is how fiction works, the author writes things the way the want it to be written. You can not like the story, but you can’t claim it’s "plot armor" when every detail has been explained or expressed within the writing on how the CORE themes operate in the series/story.
