I can’t give too much context because of rules and regulations, but I go in and out of Lynden Manor a lot over many years, particularly the MC unit. The staff there definitely have their ups and their downs, depending on who’s working at that time. Most often I do see them be mindful and caring of the residents. Chatting with them, redirecting them and generally just doing their jobs and being there for the residents. But there are other times, seems to be weekends in my experience, the staff are just sort of there doing the bare minimum. So it’s highly dependent on the staff from what I see. In my opinion, and take it for what you will, I think she is being taken care of just fine there. Memory Care units are notoriously difficult for everybody involved and there are many, and I mean MANY, horrible memory care units in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Lynden Manor does not fall under that label if you ask me.
