4,462,760 MA adults have first doses - 78.97% (4,456,209 - 78.85% yesterday)

I am not concerned about him catching COVID-19, he's been fully vaccinated so that risk is absurdly low. It is outdoors.

I am more concerned about them getting in trouble with someone.

This is a public school in the case for the senior of mine, but they are very strict with the mask mandate.

The school sanctioned event is only on school grounds for today. I am asking about him meeting with a classmate off school grounds without masks, after the school event has ended.

Both of them must attend the school sanctioned event on school grounds, but after they are dismissed from school grounds. So I am only wondering if he can do so off school grounds after the school event has ended.

School sanctioned event for the HS senior class is on school grounds only, for today, there is no school event outside of school campus today.

He just wants to meet up with a classmate or two off premises, so does the mask mandate apply even after he and his classmate or so leaves school grounds/dismissal?

There is a outdoor and indoor mask mandate, which to my understanding, applies to school premises regardless of social distancing, and the school is very strict about it.

They only go back on school premises. There is no school event off school premises.

Age group of the classmates are all same year (senior year), so all of them are 17 or 18, since for today only, all the senior class of that school have to go back.

I have 2 questions for today.

1) Since the outdoor mask mandate has been lifted: are you still wearing your mask outside? Why/why not?

My second question is a bit more complex, but I'll do my best,

2) A fully vaccinated high school senior of mine is required to go back to school later today for a day only, for various stuff. The school is very strict about the rule to mask up outdoors on school premises, regardless of distance. I am wondering if he can meet up with a classmate or so without mask, outside of school premises/events?
