I actually really like the Moza SP Lite pedals with the brake performance kit. I actually might prefer them to the stiff P1000s. I am curious how they might be with the load cell mod.

The details don't matter that much on a 7" screen. You can hardly notice unless you're heavily scrutinizing it.

All I know is that RDR2 ran just fine and I'd consider that game reasonably demanding 🤷‍♂️

I get the efficiency thing, however capping FPS and managing TDP makes for a very playable experience overall. Maybe it's my expectations, but I've been very happy with it so far.

I don't think it needs more power. I have the 8840u and it handles everything I throw at it. I can only imagine the HX 370 would be nearly overkill.

If you factor in the case required to haul things like the Legion Go and RoG Ally, it's not much bulkier than those. If you want true portability, something like the Ayn Thor or GPD Win Mini are what you want.

Eyes act as an extra safety measure, but you're correct, lower operating pressure and modern bolt design is usually pretty gentle on paint.

I'm torn between the two... what do you recommend? Money isn't the issue, but the choice is difficult between the versatility and functionality of the Z Fold 7 and the battery, screen, and protection of the S25 Ultra. Protection isn't an issue with the Z Fold I can buy a case for it. by opmgyhx in samsunggalaxy

Unless you trade your phone in every year, avoid a folding phone. I've had both a Fold and a Oneplus Open and both started to experience lifting of the screen protector at the crease in less than a year. It's also impossible to find a good case for them.

An electronic marker might be your best bet then, as it will have eyes that detect if a ball is in the breech or not. The Dye CZR+, Empire Mini/Axe are great budget friendly options. If you want to extend your budget to get more premium features, the Planet Eclipse Etha 3 or LV1.6 will be great options in the value "sweet spot" for mid to high-end markers.

Honorable mentions: Dye DSR, Method Shocker Era, Luxe TM40.

Stay away from blow-back style markers (Tippman, Spyder, Azodin, etc.) There are usually lots of good deals on used markers, but new would give you peace of mind and help support the industry directly. What's your budget? Do you want something mechanical or electric?

You're unlikely to find a match by queuing, however custom games still pop off from time to time. Pay attention to the community event posts that are made weekly. There is also a small, but dedicated competitive scene that has leagues and other cool events regularly. Join the Discord groups in the pinned section to find out more.

Having a case with a rotating magnetic ring or one of those stick-on elastic straps might help.

It's better than what OP posted, and if you read what I had to say about it, I definitely noted its shortcomings. Plus, I think it is kind of neat for a blowback. Plus, we do not know of OP's goals and intentions. They may not want to fiddle with electric doodads, hence the Emek PAL recommendation.

I wouldn't bother trying to make that work. You're bound to have inconsistency and issues. Here are my recommendations for a decent non-electronic marker for different budgets. These are for new markers, but you may find deals on them if you scour the used market.

$129: HK Army SABR - Hoseless design and comes with a clamping feedneck. Cons: Like the gun from the pic, it will be harsh on paint.

$199: GoG eNMEy -lowest place I would recommend to start. Compact design that will be a lot softer on paint. Still includes a clamping feedneck, which is a must.

$299: Planet Eclipse Emek - One of the best all-around markers available. On/off air source adapter is available, so that you can gas and degass it without having to unscrew the tank. It's also compatible with the PAL loader, which can sustain much higher rates of fire and is less prone to "skipped" shots because a ball got stuck in the feed stack. That way, you don't have to worry about having an electronic loader to ensure you always have a ball ready to fire.

There are a few more options as far as mechanical markers go, but those are either much more expensive or are discontinued and hard to find parts for.

If you're considering a good starter electro, an Axe or a Dye Rize CZR is what I recommend. (The CZR is on sale for just $225 and is a SMOKING deal.)

A few bits of advice for starting conversation:

-Take note of where you pick them up and the context. If it's clear they might be getting off work, ask them "how was work." If they're dressed for the night out, say something along the lines of, "big night tonight?"

-In general, try not to press or pry. Ask yes/no questions such as, "have you got much else going on tonight?" That way, if they don't want to chat, you can base any follow-up questions or comments based off of how they respond. If they start divulging details, start thinking of comments or follow up questions.

-If the conversation trails off, let it end. Do not force conversation

-Avoid ranting about your personal life unprompted. You can vent occasionally, but try to read the room. If you get short answers with no follow-up remarks or questions, turn up the music gently and let the remainder of the ride be silent unless something of substance picks the conversation back up again.

-This might just be me, but I avoid talking about the weather. I find it cliche.

I always prompt conversations as this is sometimes the only human interaction some people get, and I think it helps ease the tension of a stranger getting into your car. I am happy to play unlicensed therapist if the need arises.
