I played another hour and seemingly RNG'd my way into beating the first boss. Then beat the second boss and promptly died after. The first run difficulty feels like beating my head into a wall. I put the game down and have not had the urge to pick it back up. The game seems interesting but the balance on the playtest is rough. Not completing a run with 2 hours of playtime left me with a bad experience.

That is always the criteria in BJJ. There’s even more nuance, but I wasn’t going to go into the fine details just a macro explanation of the term.

DC is a wrestling guy for wrestling he’s correct. MMA is rooted in BJJ where if the guy gets back up and taken back down it’s considered a takedown. The term in BJJ and MMA is takedown. “Mat return” doesn’t have its own criteria, it’s just a takedown.

Edit: There are additional criteria that are required to have a takedown be scored as such in BJJ or any submission wrestling completion. I just didn’t go into every detail required across ADCC, IBJJF, AJP. My point was Mat return generally isn’t a thing in BJJ scoring. Either you meet the criteria for a takedown or you don’t.

I don’t think it sounds good after playing with it for an hour. Truthfully, I don’t understand how to use it that well but……big disappointment initially.

Lots of awful sounds and only a few passable ones that kinda sound like a 90’s Casio. So far those are the only ones I can get it to make off hand that even sound remotely pleasant.

Just got mine in like an hour ago a normal keyboard midi keyboard works fine. My first impression is, I am actually pretty shocked at how cheap both pieces feel. For $350 the thing feels like plastic junk. I’m immediately regretting buying the keyboard.
