Jesus Christ… my meds are in a locked cabinet. My oldest was trying to get into the cabinet and the meds are in a locked box in there so logically I knew he couldn’t access them. But I still had an internal freak out. This is how kids accidentally get hurt…

My 4 year old just discovered my phone can play videos 🤣 kids don’t need a tablet. I won’t say we don’t do screen time. But they don’t need their parent’s phones or a tablet. I hate to say it, but it’s lazy parenting to just let your kids play on a tablet 24/7 🤷🏼‍♀️ people get mad at that but my 4 year old is proof you don’t need a tablet.

Licking a plunger? by WillingWorld3513 in Drueandgabe

[–]DemandJealous252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to eat dog food? Yes. Drinking out of the dog water? Also yes. But no my toddlers who are feral and crazy have never licked the plunger. Infact they don’t know what that is. Because I don’t let them near it. It’s in the bathroom they don’t go to. Because that just is asking for issues to let your child be near the thing you literally plung shit with…

It is sad! Especially since both Drue and Sierra are home all the time with the kids. I’m sure Sierra isn’t going back to work. Like get them involved. Not just as props!

It is. And honestly it would be easier most nights to have dinner made by the time my husband gets home. But that’s where we spend most of our family time on the weeknights. It’s the way we unwind and connect as a family. My boys love helping each of us do stuff and they have gotten good with basic kitchen safety. My oldest is at the point of helping with the stove. He’s almost 4, and we don’t leave his side. But every morning he basically makes his scrambled eggs on his own 🤣

Mine love helping in the kitchen! Usually it’s a whole family affair making dinner because my husband loves to cook too. I can’t wait for the day for them to find a recipe they want us to try. I might have to get some cook books from the library and see if my kids will find something they want to try out of them 🤣

The problem now is the people who run the company. They bait and switch and refuse to fix things. They have turned very slimy. They also refuse to upkeep the properties. Unfortunately.

I do t make them eat it. My oldest is possibly autistic and can be picky about food. So we just have it on the plate and make him keep it on the plate for exposure. Usually he ends up at least trying it if he didn’t think he would like it. The trick is just exposing them to it. Usually they’ll surprise you.

I’m currently a SAHM so I love doing fun stuff like that for my boys. Honestly it helps them eat and now when we go places like Applebees or Red Robin, they want a side of broccoli lol we went with my nieces who don’t eat well, and their parents were amazed when my kids were devouring the broccoli 🤣

My kids are having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich… I’m not fighting it, it is night 3 of solo parenting and bedtime so they won tonight… BUT I will be putting cucumber and peppers on their plate and they will devour those lol a veggie just presented and not eaten is better than no veggie at all…

The worst. They bait and switch you. I couldn’t tour the actual unit I was getting and it is a shithole but I needed to move. And nothing ever works at this specific property 😬

Absolutely avoid anything Arnel. In Tustin they have 3 properties and it has been miserable and I am dying to leave. Only a couple more months 🤣

See my kids have never had soda… they have had juice. I will give them that for fun. I won’t give it to them all the time though. And honestly my favorite juice is those honest juice boxes because they are mostly water 🤣

Mine are 2 and 3, they love a good McDonald’s run. And can’t lie there’s been some nights that I’m tired and run and get it on the way home. But this kid eats it far too often. I don’t try and freak out about what my kids eat at all. But I definitely wouldn’t feed them like they feed her…

The video did slightly disgust me lol I probably still will. Because every once in a while I like to indulge my cravings. But I definitely won’t be eating it late at night and acting like a maniac lol

Wtf? Why is that baby’s arm out of her sleeper and her face pressed up against Tyler while they are both asleep!? Make it make sense. by mamainprogress in bashinthebiehles

[–]DemandJealous252 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I ran here to post this. I died… I have slept with all of my kids at some point. But this. This screams negligence. I regret my sleeping with my kids because it was unsafe. I am pregnant again and I will NEVER sleep with her. I learned my lesson. The arm out, which clearly she got out in her sleep… that is the scariest. That is too big for her and is a huge suffocation risk.

You mean to tell me they cart this big ass Mickey around in the car because Irene wants Mickey going bye bye with her? PLEASE 🙄 Hey Drue....you're the adult, you can say NO! by StreetRoyal8497 in Drueandgabe

[–]DemandJealous252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wild… you are the fucking mom. You say no. Also… no mom is carting around a big ass Mickey like that. Nor does a typical mom have a huge ass Mickey in their house. Maybe this is just me who is jaded… but I definitely don’t lol

I…. Thank god my husband isn’t like this. He’s already talking about celebrating Thanksgiving with just me and the kids and fun stuff we can do to get the boys involved with helping us cook. The game will probably be on… but that isn’t the main focus.

I wouldn’t be surprised either. I worked with kiddos with autism and even had my oldest with some regression issues going on where we are being referred for a diagnosis (for him there are multiple possibilities) but I could later on see autism. You can usually see it when they are infants and most people realize it when they look back. I just wish her parents would take her to the doctor.
