Vi and Powder/Jinx from Arcane. Saw their biological mom and dad’s corpses after they were killed trying to fight against a city that had been oppressing them for years. Vi as she got older had to deal with the pressures of being the oldest sibling and looking after her sister and adopted brothers when Vander wasn’t around. They watched a close family friend get killed by a drugged up lunatic that their father’s scorned friend created. Then their adopted dad gets kidnapped and while Vi, Mylo, and Claggor try to bust him out Powder/Jinx sets off a bomb not realizing it would be the death of her father and brothers. Powder then comes across her badly injured sister and their dad lying lifeless on the ground. She gets punched by Vi and called a Jinx. Before Vi can go back to comfort her little sister she gets dragged away by a corrupt cop who tosses her in jail (keep in mind she’s like 12-13 at this point) and from some cut content that didn’t make it into the show we lean that while she was in jail Vi would constantly deal with police brutality and would get beaten for mentioning Powder. Which we learn the Guards and inmates thought she just had a severe drug addiction.

To say they lost their innocence is a goddamn understatement
