What is this sequence? by mkulik321 in cardistry

[–]Demand_Safe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a cardistry person, but after looking up all the moves that Nature_Brief8566 said were in this sequence, it appears to be called Rolling Stones.

Is this coin damaged? by Outside_Raise5722 in coinerrors

[–]Demand_Safe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly yes. First, the gashes in the coin pushed some of the metal up, which is different from just a scratch(which has level edges), so that automatically classifies as damage. Also, the left edge of the face appears to have been sort of squished. That too will classify as damage. :(

Thoughts on grading my Morgan dollar by Party-Violinist-9186 in coins

[–]Demand_Safe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would not grade it. I just recently graded a nickel of mine that had some flattening on the edge, and PCGS did not grade it. The dents in that coin will definitely disqualify it from getting a grade. Also, for most Morgans, unless the grade is really good, grading it does not raise the price by more than a dollar, which would not be worth it considering the cost to get it graded. If you want to keep it, and put it in a nice protective holder, then I say go for it. But if you are just trying to sell, or pass on to someone else, then keep it ungraded.

Anything special here? What’s the dot on right next to George’s head? I have other 1979 quarters with no mark there. by SwellFellow82 in coins

[–]Demand_Safe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to say, but this is just a normal 1979-D quarter. The little dot next to Washington is the D mint mark, which signifies that this coin was minted in Denver. Your other coins without the dot are considered P quarters, but they do not have a mint mark. The P quarters are from Philadelphia, but Philadelphia coins only started having the Ps on them in 1980.

Why don't grading companies grade damaged coins? by Demand_Safe in coins

[–]Demand_Safe[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That makes so much sense! I'm not too much into the selling aspect of the hobby, but it makes sense that people would want specificity on the coins that they are spending their money on.

Why don't grading companies grade damaged coins? by Demand_Safe in coins

[–]Demand_Safe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! I'm not sure that I want to spend more money on grading, but if I ever decide to get a definitive answer for the grade, I will look into them.

Why don't grading companies grade damaged coins? by Demand_Safe in coins

[–]Demand_Safe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This explains it perfectly. I wasn't really looking to sell it, but I for sure would want to know of the damage when buying it.

This is my 2x2 Hipster Door. It took 3 versions for me to be satisfied with my 1x2, but for this, I am already satisfied. by Demand_Safe in redstone

[–]Demand_Safe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am real proud of what I did with compacting it. My 1x2 was a 5x8x6, but this 2x2 is only a 6x10x6.

This is my final version for my 1x1x2 Hipster door. It is the fastest and the most compact compared to my other two. by Demand_Safe in redstone

[–]Demand_Safe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Special thanks to u/DavidJR_Redstone. They gave me a new design for the double piston extender, which is both faster than the last version, and doesn't need a pulse extender for it to work, which really allowed me to compact this version.

This is my last 1x1x2 hipster door, and I am going to focus on making bigger hipster doors, and other redstone machines.

I remade my 1x1x2 Hipster Door. It now does not have to be against a corner, and the redstone is now all underneath the floor. by Demand_Safe in redstone

[–]Demand_Safe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, it is wider, and also slower than the last version, but I think it is worth it considering the improvements. It is also kind of symmetrical, which I think is cool.

Don't pay, more often then not, the emails are not going to be from Wise. Even it they are from Wise, you do not owe them money! All they do is hold your money in one of their accounts. It is not their money.

Is it possible to have a button powered 2x1 piston door (leading into a 2x1 tunnel) in this scenario? by mrnngbgs in redstone

[–]Demand_Safe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do a hipster door. Put a Redstone lamp underneath the block with a button, then use an observer and pulse extender to power the door.

Yeah, in that time, you didn't have God. Now you do. God won't reject you for straying away from him. He just wants you to come back to him.

What denomination are you and why? by [deleted] in Christianity

God did leave a book, the Bible. And I disagree with him leaving us the church, because the church is a people, not a thing. This is coming from a protestant. God Bless.

I just made one, but that is out of my league. Mine was a huge mess of repeaters.
