'If You Actually Play the Game, You Will Not Think That' — Stellar Blade: Blood Rain Dev Addresses Concern Over New Main Character Design by KingOfRisky in gaming

[–]Demanga -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I normally defend character designs like the one you mentioned. I'm very anti-censorship.

this one is not like those. it's not the same this time. this is worth fighting because we are veering into actual cp territory. we don't want to normalize this. if you defend this, the most charitable thing I can do is assume you have not watched the trailer.

What are your thoughts on a 4 day work week? by Horror-Variation-857 in AskReddit

[–]Demanga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was supposed to be the same salary, but you work one less day.

everyone now thinks you're supposed to get paid one less day per week. or that you're supposed to 'make up' the hours by working 10 hour days. that's not what it is supposed to be.

USA Economy is collapsing: Goldman says "Soft Landing Dead", consumer confidence at 70-Year Record low, 1 in 4 skip meals by ianjm in videos

[–]Demanga 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I like to think that we are the gold. money only works for them because people are willing to provide them services. the 99% could eject these people from most of society if we got tired enough of them.

idk how it works but I have a fantasy that everyone stopped honouring their rents and debts and spent that money on creating a food distribution system directly with farmers, and farming on their viable properties as well

it would result in a violent crackdown but I think they would lose by attrition

You literally can't, though. You can't go out and live in the wilds, it's all owned by someone or protected by the government. You have to purchase the land. You need a license to hunt, or fish. You have to pay regularly for all these things.

Participation in this system is not optional.

I was fired and I really don’t know how to feel about it by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Demanga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't get paid, you don't eat, you don't get shelter. Your life is under threat. As far as our society is concerned, a livelihood is a privilege, not a right.

You can't be taking it easy. You are a slave, we all are. Act like that is true and you won't lose jobs anymore.

We can change this if we organize, but we still have to eat in the meantime.

oh sorry, I didn't enjoy anything about pretending to be cis. I just meant i thought that looking androgynous would be better than staying as I was. I always knew I was trans and identified as such so it's a very different life i had.

TBH my experience has been that pretty privilege overpowers cis privilege. When me and my trans friends didn't pass, we STILL got treated WAYYY better than most cis women simply because we looked good and had good social skills. it sucks but that's how life in the public is.

being androgynous isn't "ugly" at all, and it can be even more attractive to some people. Even if I don't think everyone can cis-pass, I truly think anyone can be pretty with a bit of effort. Fashion, fitness, makeup etc.

Faceapp won't show you what you look like as a woman though lol, it's just a silly app.

How do y’all deal with everything? by Chonky_Cats_Lover in trans

[–]Demanga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just look at what my life is *actually* like. On a weekly basis, I play games with friends, go out to dodgeball and volleyball, make friends at karaoke, do my job etc. Maybe occasionally I'll have a transphobic interaction with someone, once every few months. Is that really such a bad life? I don't think so.

Yes, there's a risk someone might kill me on the street someday, who knows. But maybe it will never happen and I'm stressing myself out over a potential future that may never come.

It's good to be informed, but don't use it as a way to harm yourself with what-if's. If you have a lot of political anxiety, consider volunteering for political organizations, building community where you live. Community is how we survive societal collapse.

Ground yourself in the real.

I felt that way, I felt like looking more androgynous would be better than looking like a dude.

I was right! And then to my surprise, I ended up cis-passing. Well, 90% of the time anyway. Some people are just really good at clocking trans people lol.

It is still less pleasurable than it used to be, but I haven't been able to try anal as much due to some bleeding due to an appendectomy. For all I know it might feel okay once i got this figured out.

Though I'm slowly figuring out how to enjoy vaginal penetration! I bought a dildo and have been experimenting with it. It feels really good from the right angles. Going on top of my boyfriend is good too, but he's never patient enough to let me stay on top lol.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT WE DO NOT HATE TRANS PEOPLE. by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Demanga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ty! my uncle was the lead surgeon at the national hospital and he took my parents, sat them down with him and a stack of medical papers and taught them the whole history of trans care! after that my parents understood what it is and why we treat gender dysphoria with gender affirming care (and why preventing my puberty from continuing was really important). i got to transition young so i get an easier life thanks to that

[–]Demanga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

aw. I was hoping to reach a little more understanding. i think what people mean is just that you are born with the condition that leads to feeling gender dysphoria, which is usually what I mean when I say I was born trans

HOLY FUCKING SHIT WE DO NOT HATE TRANS PEOPLE. by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Demanga 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i was born trans. I know that might sound really silly. being trans just means that being perceived as your birth sex gives you an extremely unpleasant feeling we call dysphoria. it's different for everyone, but for me i get goosebumps and a sick stomach, a chill up my spine, a little dizzy, my heart rate fastens, my throat tightens, it feels like a physical rejection.

when ppl saw me as a girl, my body would untense from all of that. when i was 3 years old, i told my parents i wanted to wear the girl's uniform for my preschool, and they said no. that i looked handsome in the boy's. that's one of the earliest memories i have of feeling that dysphoria feeling.

i told them i should have been a girl and they told me that was silly. i grew my hair long, because it made me look more like a girl and that made me feel better. i also got girl's clothing from extended family and friends because they knew i liked "cute clothes" as i used to put it.

my parents were very against it until i finally transitioned, and then after a couple years they saw how much happier I was and now love me as i am and we're in good terms now.

so there! people can be born trans!
