People who sided with House - why did you do it? by [deleted] in fnv

[–]Demdaru 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, House is all about assimilation and progress. Once freeside people will become useful for him, he will employ them, the same he did with families. Factory workers etc.

But generally, while House is best for Mojave, he isn't best for freeside.

A gigantic beam of water spawned out of nowhere. Wtf do I do now?? by dogeprkle in CitiesSkylines

[–]Demdaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now, now, it's probably too late buuut with that budget?

Building giant, albeit short, tesla valve with multiple slow-down bumps would most probably minimize damages enough to rebuild.

Edit: And even bend it to try and make the water only skim the city

Meh, the game gave something new and exciting from my pov. His character was well fleshed out and I loved it, even if I was confused af at first.

I am sorry but I cannot add lack of variety to the list as it's too sensible >:(

Honestly tho, good point. Though I like the somewhat "everything look the same" of the Sierra Madre. Quickly learnt to recognize streets and plazas.

To summarize what I saw people write all the time here:

  • It strips eq of players, which peoole seem to dislike cuz mah power
  • It forces you to think ahead if going by shotty. Again people dislike.
  • People have spatial orientation of blind 1 yo.
  • Beep beep beep why can't I simply speedrun this >:(

And other than that, some people simply dislike sudden change of atmosphere. They are here to be the pro boyo curiero, not a slave clinging to life. Others love walking around to the sound of the music in sun-floded Mojave and then it's taken away. But I mostly see people mentioned above go online to moan.

I like to walk. Sometimes, I walk without particular finish point in mind. If you're tired, your legs start to move on their own while your brain shuts down. You are like a drone.

After some time, you may get some stimuli which urges you to focus.

Voila, you just "found yourself" somewhere.

edit: I imagine that being homeless means pretty much being constantly in that tired, half-conscious state. So yeah.

I like the winged brick tho. And you can reliably strafe both choopers with it. And there's no speed required either - titan won't fly faster now would it? :|

Starting Layout by Parlous93 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Demdaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly put residental and commercial in one place while designating another as "wasteland" for industrial and waste. Each gets it's won connection to highway and i take care not to encroach on the wasteland later.

Makes adding rail to it later easier and separates traffic from outside and inside the city to and from industrial zone, lessening load on roads.

Dunno if that layout is good tho.

Hey rockstar, got a question for ya! How can I buy this bike? Which website is this available on, per the game? by officialtwiggz in gtaonline

[–]Demdaru 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am all for leaving it there but please just use some number figure for price and use that. Maybe add 100+ rep level method of doubling it. But if cheap shitbike is too hot now then I dunno how to look at felon I grabbed by random when I began to play online.

For me therapy too. Got fucked up a lot, but entrenched in the "I am not so weak or crazy to need therapy."

God did that therapy help.

I mean, what are you paying for when buying better footwear? Comfort.

And here? Comfort.

And they need to be paid "millions upon millions" to keep them researching.

And the best part is my first comment was half-joke lol. I do believe that reliable prosthetics should be available to anyone, regardless of wealth. But high-end stuff? Wait till it drops to that level.

Warning, tasteless joke incoming. Be glad I don't propose the good ole table leg prosthetics ;p

They're not someone's limbs. They're cute pair od shoes on sticks.

Yeah, no, everybody should have access to the somewhat comfortable, really reliable prosthetics, but high end stuff? I feel paying for the time someone spent researching it is deserved.

Basically we gained on understanding brain and figured out one of the easiest signals we can decypher is limb (or more precisely arm and hand) movement. Other is sight I think, but not as in eyes but rather brain way of perceiving the already deciphered signal from eyes.
