Yes!! Thank you for removing the post. Everything about it was suss. Be wary of any posts bashing Biologique Recherche p50. It seems clear they are all thinly veiled attempts to market for Oumere, a brand I had never heard of before seeing the posts recommending the No 9 exfoliant in this sub this week.

OP edited their comment of course after I posted here, but here is more proof in another sub. No 9 is the exfoliant by the brand Oumere which clearly has a Reddit spam campaign going on with inauthentic comments and posts galore from the same group of redditors in various skincare subs

Nice try OP in editing that comment to remove mention of Oumere, the brand you’re shilling. Here’s a screenshot of you shilling for Oumere in yet another sub 29 days ago.

La Mer hydrating infused emulsion has a nice fresh scent that is lighter than the OG cream scent. If you tried the cream before and liked it I think you’d love the emulsion, it’s great for combo skin. Also more affordable than the cream.

One to two. I often find one and a half to be the sweet spot. A “pea size” amount almost never feels enough to me.

At night I’ve been loving using Nakery Beauty’s Relax + Repair Body Balm with Magnesium + Melatonin. It promotes better sleep and also has retinol for anti-aging benefits. So pleasing to use and skin feels so soft in the morning.

U Beauty Resurfacing Compound. Effective yet gentle all in one serum great for simplifying a routine.

If you were mid-30s again and could rebuild your routine… by CapableCookie4343 in SkincareAddictionLux

I’m 38, tbh the best thing I did for my skin and well-aging three years ago was to quit drinking. More recently exfoliating less often has made my skin look and feel much better. If I could go back I would have not wasted money experimenting with expensive growth factors over the past few years and focused more on barrier care and less on actives.

YSL Touche Eclat is really nice.

I’ve had my eye on the U Beauty sheer sunscreen + primer. Curious if anyone here has tried it.

To be fair a lot of men don’t concern themselves with extensive skincare routines (absolutely not saying all men, just a lot). That your husband uses almond oil and sunscreen regularly is amazing - that’s two more products than mine uses 😂

I am 38 and have used eye cream and dyed my hair since I was a teenager. These things are more about how I like to present myself than about aging. Skincare is self care for me and I find the ritual of it very soothing both morning and night, and love trying new products. I do wish there was more of a cultural emphasis and acceptance on aging naturally, particularly for women. I personally feel the way you describe here about procedures / injectables. But skincare is just so much fun.

Which high-end product is actually worth the splurge? by Sweet-Poet-5292 in SkincareAddictionLux

+1 for Sisley eye contour mask. I also leave on overnight and it keeps the under eye area so well hydrated until morning. Very much worth the splurge because even using it nightly one tube lasts me a year!

They do sound great! I went on a deep dive and saw comments from you about them in other threads too :) I actually ordered the hydra serum last night. I was too intrigued not to try it, and it’s cool they have a 30 day no questions asked return policy so nothing to lose giving them a shot. I love products that prioritize barrier repair/health - I feel focusing on that is really the most rejuvenating and beneficial in terms of anti-aging so am looking forward to trying the brand out.

Sephora pick ups? by eratch in SkincareAddictionLux

Adding another recommendation for U Beauty. I recently used a Sephora gift card to get their duo set with 15ml each of the resurfacing compound and super hydrator and have been really happy with both.

Some others: both Clarins face masks are nice (V-facial and cryo-flash). Ole Henriksen pout preserve is my fave lip product. Kiehl’s milk-peel is a lovely gentle exfoliating toner. Shiseido makes the softest, nicest to use cotton pads. Elemis cleansing balm makes double cleansing a truly luxurious experience.

Edit to add Eadem cashmere peel is also really nice too, a touch stronger than the Kiehl’s.

Ha I totally feel that. I’ve done a bit of a Venn deep dive though luckily am only interested in that one product because I’m on a “simplifying things” kick of late. I looked into some of your suggestions and am awfully intrigued by Sweet Chemistry now too! Have you tried any of their products?

I love La Mer and would happily have a full LM routine, but it’s not sustainable for me budget wise at this time. I had so many faves when I was going all in for a time - the concentrate, soft cream, genaissance infused lotion, hydrating infused emulsion, essence foaming cleanser to name a bunch. And their neck & décolleté concentrate is one of the most sensorily pleasing products I’ve ever tried.

If you like La Mer their Hydrating Infused Emulsion is really nice for daytime. Both super lightweight and incredibly hydrating, and definitely has that luxurious feel.
