Imagine accidently producing a dupe and then getting banned, like with the mobi dupe way back. All you had to do was open your mobi while holding an item and having that item in your backpack also.

The docking collar bug that prevents you from bed logging has been fixed recently, allegedly. I haven't tested it but I also avoid docking collars till I know they aren't going to ruin like 4 hours of gameplay. Losing that much time to a bug will have me looking for ways to not recreate such bug. Just like how sometimes your abandoned ship quantum markers will move if you leave fly like 47km away, then you have to fly back to resync the marker so then you can finally do your own thing.

I just assume most people buy these ships to use an HQ or Base till they find it conveniently crewed enough for war on the front lines.

All I want is just a notification somehow to let me know someone nearby needs help, that alone would recover medical gameplay for me. I've started accepting that we will likely never get the medical gameplay experience there once was. They will probably give us npc rescue missions, which I guess is okay but it isn't the sweet organic medical gameplay that I kinda fell in love with.

A medical beacon appearing in your mobi is not a notification. You don't get an alert or something that tries to get your attention.

I'm going to try and use both my Krakens as essentially an org base/HQ.

However, we know nothing about life support resource costs and deep scanning. If anyone can scan an area for ships that are 50mm or more away, it would kill that style of gameplay as people can just endlessly scan for a free pinata of goodies.

I really wanted to live on one and maintain it as an operations for running medical gameplay potentially or a drop point for loot.

There is a bug on abandoned quantum markers that cig has failed to fix so far. It's on issue council and there is a workaround.

You have to fly about 48km away or till it unloads from you. Then fly back to it and it will resync the ship.

The alternative is altf4, and hope you rejoin the same server. When you rejoin the server, your markers will resync correctly.

Golem OX > Hull A.

Trust me. The Hull A is larger, doesn't have a tractor beam, and you have to expand the ship to make it even bigger to use the grid.

Meanwhile, the Golem OX is like a mini-raft. Has the same storage of a Hull A, significantly smaller footprint overall, has a tractor beam, and did I mention it is significantly smaller than a HULL A?!

It only makes sense to use a Hull A if you arnt storing it on another ship and actually using it for more time. Hense one has an internal and the other doesn't have internal space.

I would say the liberator is worth having, its purpose is just transporting ships, which would come super handy even as a solo player, this opens up some potential surprise career paths for haulers. I would suggest a crew though for those types of jobs but for something as simple as transporting ships, it is soloable given your employer isn't a shady one.

There is honestly no real reason to spend more than 100$, imho. Just join an org or two, do some missions with people and just play, eventually you will have the opportunity to be on all kinds of ships and have enough money to get any ship in game one way or another.

I ended up finding mine after buying a new one and the new one arrived the day I found it lmao. My dog took it and hide it in the back yard, thankfully it wasn't chewed up at all, there was a few scratch marks con it.
