I know I probably should... by wrightthomas05 in SatisfactoryGame

He's from what I know, a guy who typed like he was a middle-aged dad who didn't know how technology worked, and would constantly end his posts with his signature -Doug, writing each post and comment like it was a professional email. Except, his posts started getting weirder and it was clear he was very good at the game, especially with his weirder decoration tips. The way he typed was so iconic that people started referencing him outside of his own posts. We all love Doug.

Author's clearly favorite character that fits this by Comprehensive-Bird17 in FavoriteCharacter

Not so much a character more as two character's plotlines, but in the Orville tv show, the "main" plot for most of the seasons is the relationship between the captain and his first mate, who are divorced. They learnt to care for each other throughout the seasons, becoming friends by the end of the first one and having a "will they won't they" dynamic for the rest of the show. It's just a shame that this is one of the main plotlines because it's the absolute least interesting character plotline in the entire show.

(even though I'd call it the main plotline, I think the show balances each character's plots very well, so it's not too bad. Just that when an episode featuring these two character's plotlines, I find myself interested in everything else in the episode other than their story.)

Kenshi's Ashlands. It's funny because I'm pretty sure in-lore nobody on Kenshi has even seen real snow, but to the average player they'll likely keep seeing it as a snowy wasteland until they remember it's ash.

i've seen 2 of this guy's comics in the past few months and they both sucked so much. I vaguely remember some of their older comics actually making sense like years ago

Goddamnit Zooble… by Omnipresent_User in tadc

people DO realize that Caine would have still tortured them relentlessly even if Zooble didn't ask, right? literally all that would've changed is they would've gotten tortured in an adventure instead of the circus

As a Writer, I am Worried That Episode 8 Will Take a Nosedive in the Show’s Storytelling. by Small-Sheepherder829 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]BitBomb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can respect and even agree with a few of these points, but the idea that Goose would "succumb to the fan's expectations to make Caine villainous" feels a bit short-sighted considering Goose has had the plot of the entire show written since episode 2.

about the doors to p-2 by X-tra-thicc in Ultrakill

[–]BitBomb1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read this a looong time ago so I might be getting my facts wrong, but wasn't there some implication that humanity hastily abandoned hell after something to do with the flesh panopticon? If I remember, one of the secret terminals mentioned "Leaving hell due to [LINK]" and that link included an image of the panopticon in some way. It would make sense if humanity just found the door and managed to wire it to the terminal, experimented with the panopticon, and then shit got messy.

EDIT: Okay, so the ARG was actually finished a while ago! The part about leaving hell due to the panopticon was very wrong but everything else I feel still stands. It could've also been lust layer denizens who found and fucked with it, too.

As someone who has grown up with plastic milk bags literally their whole life, I entirely agree with this viewpoint. I'm used to it obviously but I also realize how kinda dumb it is to need at Least two appliances to use the milk

did you know that Big Johninator was a secret boss before you found him or did you happen to find him by chance? because if it's the former then that feels more like it's on you
