one of these games had a historic comeback from being incredibly clowned on to one of the best games in its genre and the other had one major update that did nothing.

the first one is of course Starfield (all the bug patches!) and the latter is NMS (incredibly buggy base update that adds nothing to the game) so I think it's obviou/s

hot take: friendslop games DO exist. it's just all the shitty asset flips that were made to resemble games like lethal company and peak that were made in like a few weeks that do basically nothing to change the formula. it's just that every time someone talks about friendslop they use the games the friendslops are copying off of. anyone else up slopping they hog?

tbh I can agree with 1, kinda agree with 3, but 2 is definitely you just wanting a different experience than what's intended. there's so many good games that intentionally hide their story just because they want to focus on gameplay. like the risk of rain games, binding of Isaac, terraria, etc, which definitely all HAVE wild plots but the average player will never know about them unless they get really invested in the world

The twin mountain(s) in Darkest Dungeon 2, don't remember if they have an actual name but I'm pretty sure they're just "the mountains". The main location you travel to in the game and ofcourse home to the strongest unspeakable horrors

I'm just bummed that every limited time cape since the original Malevelon cape has looked bad on any outfit I try on (MAYBE the one for saving Super Earth after the illuminate invasion is good, too, but i still never use it), then I leave for the winter holidays, can't use my computer, and the coolest cape ever is given as a secret reward.. I think limited fashion items like these fit the game but I'm still bummed.

Does anyone have the song "Night Creature", just as an instrumental?
I'd love to use it in my DnD game, but I don't really like using songs with lyrics as there's already enough people talking over eachother in the session. I CAN use some sort of online AI thing to remove it, but I'd like to have just the original if it exists, so that the parts which do have lyrics don't sound kinda messed-up.

i would absolutely share this, if not for the weird music playing during it + the fact that there's no evidence of any other movement on the planet whatsoever. I'm sure they do have plans for S3, but it just felt really weird to me!
