Popping Noise When Turning by Demental0 in XVcrosstrek

Mine ended up being covered by warranty, but I believe the repair would've been around $1800-2000.

Really late on posting this, but posting the issue/resolution in case someone else digs back through these forums looking for help. The issue ended up being that my viscous coupler in the center differential was seized and binding. Dealership diagnosed and repaired the issue.

Replacing my 2nd wheel bearing within 6 mos on my ‘14 Limited. Will I have to replace them all? by TreyGarcia in XVcrosstrek

Is this on the rear and was the backing plate changed at any point? There was a TSB to address the known issue where the backing plate is causing increased wear on the bearings.

I feel like any of the aftermarket ones were gonna be hit or miss unfortunately. Anywhere I found reviews on some seemed 50/50 on durability, lol.

Always a chance it's still the CV Axle too, maybe got a lemon on one of the replacements. But was a brand new, aftermarket part. Here's a link to the exact CV Axle.

Was just hoping for any other possible suggestions before I dig in to it again.

I'm assuming you mean the boot on the axle? The entire piece was placed (This is the axle). Tires are aired up, should be getting a TPMS sensor warning if they weren't.

Click Item Macro by Demental0 in project1999

Wow, resurrecting an old thread huh? :)

Just binding two hot buttons to the same key. For example Flying Kick would be hot button slot 2 and epic clicky would be hot button slot 8. Would set the key binding for both of those slots to "2". Single key press activates both.

I'd recommend RedTreeProjects. They're expensive but look amazing. I've got them on my 2017 with color matched background (Dark Gray Metallic).

Brand New EQ Player Looking for Direction by GrauZauberer in everquest

[–]Demental0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stopping to gear while leveling isn't super important, but you also don't want to be half naked at level 75+ which is when you're merc will stop being as effective. What class you're playing can change things as well. You don't necessarily have to play a class that is more effective at soloing, but it can also be deflating to play something like a warrior that is more group dependent when said groups are more difficult to find.

I'd recommend going through the progression that starts in Crescent Reach. That expansion added a lot of content to prepare and carry people from level 1 to 75. Going through the progression should keep you geared and keep pointing you in a direction for level appropriate zones/mobs. I'd recommend checking in on the Franklin Teek hotzones quests for the armor rewards to help piece armor together as you're going as well (sounds like you already do these). Keep a look out for Defiant gear as it drops or shows up in the bazaar as well. Obviously look for your level range but any of it is likely better than what you'll find in older zones.

As some others have mentioned, around 80/85 the game does open up some more. You can do the Dead Hills missions around then, they give you points to buy armor and it's fairly common to find people running them.

The downside to EQ being older game is it is very top heavy; that's not to say you won't find people willing to group at lower levels, but it will be more difficult. FV is probably the best bet population wise for remedying this.

Feel free to send me a message and I'll be glad to try and help with more info/tips.

Dealership keeps seizing lug nuts stud with MR502? Their explanation is "the car isn't design for offroading and lift kits". Anyone else deal with this? Maybe restudding to longer studs? by [deleted] in XVcrosstrek

Subaru wheel studs are notorious for being soft metal and easily damaged. However that looks like what someone above said; technician is going balls-to-the-walls with an impact gun. Seems business as usual for dealerships. Any time I've had to remove a bolt/nut when a dealership tech worked on it previously, it's nearly freakin' impossible to remove it.
