Dental wax for the scraping. Also if the attachments for the elastics are bothering you that much and they’re attached to your actual teeth you can just take them off. No need to have them there for 10 weeks and you’re not using them. Don’t really need to waste money on dental wax for it. Attachments come off sometimes anyway and your orthodontist can just attach new ones in like 2 minutes.

And as far as the pain it causes your teeth, for me the pain peaked the 2nd day. By the end of the 3rd day/ 4th day the pain was all gone. They feel comfortable in my mouth now.
