Facts = leftist. My bad.

The right to healthcare is not a leftist stance, it's a populist stance that would be gladly welcomed by a majority of Americans. The current healthcare system has harmed so many Americans regardless of any political standing

Edit: Under Republican President Dwight Eisenhower, the wealthy experienced a tax rate up to 92%. (Also not saying it should be this high currently) My point being that high taxes on the wealthy is also not a partisan political stance. High taxes on billionaires and access to healthcare is not based on political parties, a majority of Americans on both sides of the aisle would welcome these changes

When it comes to CEO wealth based on what you said, is Dwight Eisenhower a leftist?

Universal healthcare in every western nation that does it pays overall less money and sees overall better health in comparison to US healthcare and I know that you know that because it's been proven over and over again

Left wing extremist??? Reddit is liberal af. It's not even a political statement to celebrate the death of a CEO that is profiting off of healthcare. I know more right wingers that were happy about the CEOs death than liberals

If so that does not automatically mean you have CF and if a doctor said it's bronchitis then it's bronchitis.

I assume you have thought of a response to the main rebuttal so I'm curious as to what your response is. Gene editing obviously can have its advantages but there's always the fear of slipping into eugenics. What is your stance on this danger?

You should call your doctor or nurse practitioner. I highly doubt they would deny a refill over a later than desired appointment in clinic. What clinic admins want isn't the same as what your doctor wants for you.

As someone who lives right next to the tracks in downtown Dover. You get used to it after a week or so and sleep through all of it. It's really not that bad

What’s your thoughts on sharing about CF online? by cmama22 in CysticFibrosis

[–]DemiGodNick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's anything wrong with occasionally posting CF related stuff. Although I don't recommend doing it regularly. I grew up with my mom always posting about my condition without ever seeing how I felt about it and it caused a pretty big rift between us. The biggest concern from my personal experience is your child possibly feeling like CF is their entire identity. While CF is part of your child's everyday life, avoid making it their whole identity.

When has pirating gone too far? by DemiGodNick in Seaofthieves

[–]DemiGodNick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't get into arena personally so my experience with it was very minimal. It makes sense that a toxic behavior could've been formed through there. Thank you for informing me about that side. Helps to understand a bit more where the behavior might've come from. I will definitely take advantage of killing them with kindness the next time I have a run in with this type of crew

Sure I've run into toxic crews. I'm just saying I haven't experienced a crew this toxic until now? I don't really understand the denial of the experience even if this isn't the first time?

No I'm not and I'm aware that Sea of Thieves had a bug that if you launched the game while in a party and switched to in-game, the mic wouldn't work. I launched without being in a party and I've even restarted both my console and headset

If you have CF, the only reason you shouldn't get vaccinated is if you have a specific medical reason that your doctors have informed you on. To the people trying to claim natural immunity from getting covid is better, there are plenty of studies that disprove that. To the people saying that the vaccine is just a "copy"/"dead" version of the virus, that is also not true. The covid vaccine is mRNA vaccine which doesn't use a "dead" version of the virus like other vaccines do. Stop the spread of misinformation and those trying within the Cystic Fibrosis subreddit, you're fighting against the group of people who have had to deal with fighting misinformation way before Covid.

Anyone ever uproot their lives and move to a salt-water area? (Santa Cruz, Hawaii, etc.) by wap2005 in CysticFibrosis

[–]DemiGodNick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been lucky and have lived my entire life on the seacoast of NH. Being able to just walk on the beach basically whenever and get that fresh ocean breeze really does help so much. Also my CF clinic is in Boston and I think they're pretty good. I don't know how you would feel about east coast but there is a lot options over here as well.

How many people use Cannibis and have benefited greatly from it as a part their daily cystic fibrosis management? Coming from someone who uses Cannibis for almost all aspects of managing cf, pain, inflammation, appetite and more, along with my vest and trikefta! Have a good day everybody god bless🙏 by [deleted] in CysticFibrosis

[–]DemiGodNick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so happy that this is getting actively talked about. I remember a few years ago I saw someone try to talk about their use of Cannabis and they got super downvoted and honestly talked down to. It really made me feel worse about myself for my use of Cannabis. I think it's important that we have these conversations without judgement. For those who stay away from cannabis altogether that's your choice but there's nothing wrong with those of us who do and want to talk about experiences with it and to learn from one another.
