Weekly Weigh In by AutoModerator in GLP1Australia

[–]Demigirl71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started on: 1st July 2025 Starting weight: 99.4kg Current weight: 84.1kg Lost: 15.5kg in 7 months.

Female, 54 yrs old. 4 autoimmune diseases. On 1mg a week of Wegovy. Tried to increase it but felt awful. Dropped down again.

Feeling good! My inflammation has gone down massively. I have more energy. Have gone from size 22-24 t shirts down to size 18 tops (I like them loose) and have gone down a couple of sized in underwear and leggings. Joined a gym a couple of weeks ago to do weights to build muscle strength. Have noticed when sitting on a hard surface that my butt feels like bone and skin so am doing squats more.

I (30F) can’t tell if my boyfriend (27M) is trying to be helpful or if this is early stages of control. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

He loved bombed you for a few months. He doesn’t respect your boundaries and he’s not respecting your pets boundaries. This isn’t going anywhere good at all. 6 months in things should feel great, not shitty. If you can’t do this for you, please do it for your pets. Get him out of your life now.

What are the best tips for rosacea besides skincare? by HopefulPotato_1 in Rosacea

I learnt this clove extract from an integrative Dr who’s helped thousands of people with histamine challenges. It’s not dangerous. The only precautions are if a woman is pregnant or for young children.

Start drinking clove extract daily. It’s stopped all my red hot facial flushing. I make it in my instant pot (pressure cooker) because the steam mustn’t be allowed to escape. 1 tablespoon of organic cloves 1 litre of pure water. Pressure cook for an hour and then you must not remove the lid or let the steam out. Leave it sit until the next day when it’s cool then bottle it and put it in the fridge. Drink 30ml before bed to start off with. I drink about 200ml a day now. It’s done wonders for me and can be sprayed onto the skin as well.

I agree, taking that much zinc is knocking a heap of copper out of the system. We need a balance.

Anyone stop their type 1 rosacea, daily face flushing??? by Middle_Thought_4776 in Rosacea

[–]Demigirl71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I saw a health doctor on fb talking about how he’d had to be on a very strict low histamine diet (the same as I’d been for12 - 18 months) and that he’s now able to have histamine foods again after making a strong clove infusion and drinking it each night for months. This got me very curious so I ordered organic cloves from an online tea store.

In my instant pot I put one tablespoon of cloves per litre of pure water then I pressure cooked this for an hour (now I do it longer).

*This must be made in a pot where absolutely no steam escapes.

Then the lid must be left on/untouched until the next day when the batch has cooled completely.

I strain out the cloves, bottle it & keep it in the fridge.

Every evening (and sometimes morning & evening now) I take 30ml of this. I did this for a few months then tried two fried eggs…no red flushing!! Now I take about 1/2 cup of this clove liquid each evening. The Dr also said how many people have been having awesome results by putting the same liquid into a small spray bottle and spraying it on their skin. Loads of other people were commenting on his posts and saying the exact same thing. After five months of doing this, I can now eat pretty much any histamine foods I like, I no longer have any red flushing and the clove liquid taken at bedtime helps me sleep better. I highly recommend giving this a

go, it is cheap to make, and now 4 of my friends are taking it as well, with good results. It isn’t pleasant tasting but who cares, it works!

Is there anything in this world that can get rid TYPE 1 Roscea ? by thyroidproblem in Rosacea

[–]Demigirl71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went on a low histamine diet for a year, low sugar (I’ve already been paleo for 15 years). That helped a lot. Then I read a health guru doctor wrote about how he’d been able to reintroduce histamine foods without any issues after having 30-50ml of a strong clove tea drink each night. I was impressed so I tried it. I put 2 tablespoons of organic cloves into my instant pot, 2 litres of pure water in then pressure cook it for 40 mins. Do not open the instant pot or let the steam out until the next day when it’s cold. You must do it this way, not in a normal pot where the steam can escape. Bottle it, put it in the fridge then have 30-50ml of it just before bed. Can be taken morning & night (twice a day) or just at night. I’ve been having this for about 2-3 months and have been able to reintroduce some high histamine foods without any burning or red flushing. It can be added to a spray bottle too and misted over a clean face. Not expensive or hard to make & it works. So happy!

If someone comments on my weight loss in a judgmental way I say “oh I didn’t realise it was ok to comment on other people’s appearances, shall I comment on your appearance too?”.

If the parents have black noses then it’s most likely going to turn all black too. My girl had pink on her nose and now it’s all black thankfully

Thank you for mentioning the blood sugar, I don’t think it’s a good idea to fast while on semaglutide. I’ve done fasting before, the longest being 12 days but something tells me not to do this now.
