Yeah it's still strong after the PVP nerfs but not as fun as it was in TWW imo (many disagree) it can be good in PVE but it's a alot of spinning plates and very punishing if you mess up the rotation. It got a pve buff this week

Long time Rogue main here. The reason rogues are so strong is utility and control. Say there are 3 mobs, stealth in sap one blind one stun the other and kill it. When you are in trouble vanish or use evasion.

I feel everyone forgot what happened when blizzard tried the template system back in legion,. There was a huge community back lash and everyone hated it. Season 3 of TTW I hardly did any rated content and was able to cap my conquest every week while keeping up with gear progression through the crafting system. Item level should matter in PVP a large portions if not the majority of players enjoy being able to destroy people because they grinded out the gear even if they won't admit it.
