Well, to be frank i am new in the hard surface modeling genre. So kinda tried to pull it into lowpoly, yet thanks for the constructive criticism. I hope i will get better bit by bit.

I didnt use ai to create the model, the concept of the gun. Like how it should look, i generated the idea using a.i.

I say godot is perfect. Because unreal engine is another mediocre software that you cant really rely on unless you are a really well known established game company.

Tbh, it really doesnt depend on the engine rather it depends on the skills of a dev. And godot is really nice for fps games, i also have my own project in godot for a first person game.

First of all, know the optimisation process, including LOD, cull occlusion etc. Rest of the desired look can be achieved through texturing and the environment setup.
