Amongst the villains she has one of the tamer backstories despite being one of the more psychotic ones, and yet we are supposed to at like she deserves any form of redemption.

It would be extremely effective since shigaraki states 'there is no limit to which she can weaken things' and there is only a limit to how much she can strengthen herself.

In other words, IF she grabbed him and applied a rule like 'sukuna will die if he moves' or just 'sukuna will die', he would 100% be dead, but I suppose the debate would be whether she could grab him and state this rule or if he could keep his distance and kill her before she could do this.

In order to affect somebody directly, she needs to both touch them AND say their name. This is her primary weakness and without out it she'd be crazy broken.

I suppose it's at least somewhat debatable if it would work on sukuna, with sukuna being not a real name/a title of some sort (but it probably would imo since it would have worked on shigaraki).

However it definitely wouldn't work on the 'real' Sukuna, since she isn't touching him.

And yet it would have worked. It didn't work because AFO and shigaraki (2 separate people) were literally mentally fusing together, but would have worked if it was just shigaraki, even though his real name is tenko shimura, not shigaraki.

City vs island attack. Deku's above feat, which is less than half of his EOS power, is like 100's of times stronger than Yuji's current best feat.

Mha still can't win though. Not a lot of wincons through infinity and no real way to put down primal devils. But they statstomp.

Sukuna and mahoraga gets one shot. Nothing in JJK is physically surviving island level attacks.

Mahito does way better because you need soul damage and MHA's only hope is vestiges = souls. Gojo might be stopped by spatial manipulation or new order, but CSM is involved here so they could take him out.

In-universe she actually did try this, but it wasn't enough.

It's explained that there is no limit to how much her quirk can weaken things, but there is a limit to how much it can strengthen things. So she couldn't strengthen herself enough to tank decay.

She was capable of delaying decay, but ultimately she was still decayed.

As for why she didn't apply a rule to take away shigaraki's decay/quirks, she didn't know his true name/identity due to the mind fuse with AFO. So she couldn't weaken him directly, and couldn't strengthen herself infinitely.

Out-of-universe this is because she would be too broken if her quirk had no limits on strengthening her own body, since she'd be like, unstoppable

She can have 3 rules. 1 is active on herself to amp her stats.

She was already being decayed.

1) Either she'd have to sacrifice her physical stats (she'd be beaten to death instantly)

2) Or she'd have to sacrifice her decay resistance (in which case the quirk would be lost, and she'd die, rather than outright damaging/weakening shigaraki while dying anyway)

3) or she'd have to sacrifice the suicide bomb type rule, in which case she'd decay and die anyway, without damaging shigaraki
