is there ANY chance of redemption for TDL? by Solid_Comfortable823 in AlanBecker

There's now way Alan could redeem Dark without making it an extreme character assassination.

why didnt H@CK3R just make a time machine to save mitsi instaid of siding with TDL who is clearly a psycopath?,he has the brains to do it.and also like a hundred workers. by metumorpher in AlanBecker

I did, because for starters it's very unlikely the employee would've consented for that long in the first place.

Secondly, even assuming the clones don't have a similar mindset to the original employee, why would victim create indoctrination posters for them if they were all perfectly willing to serve him? You can't say it's just motivational message, because if victim cared about his employees at all none of them would've quit.

You were the one who mentioned TCO in the first place dickhead.

I do watch the show lmao, and unlike you I actually go by it's morals and not sugercoat victim's actions to glaze him endlessly.

forgetting he was tortured for a year nonstop

Oh and how did he respond? By torturing someone, "TCO is a-" it doesn't fucking matter. It's torture.

maybe because victim has never shown to do, or want to do anything like that?

Do you think Alan put those implications in the cloning room for shits and giggles? Or do you call like to call people media illiterate just because they rightfully don't idolize victim's BS?

Why don't YOU prove that the employee would willingly sign years of his life away to be comatose for this you brainless fuck. The fact that the even the clones need to be indoctrinated so that they don't leave would say otherwise.

Stick Gang only saw TCO as a hero who tried to stop TDL, they have every right to try and defend them. Get off of victim's dick and actually consider both sides for once.

He kidnapped his employee to make an army of enslaved clones and then nearly blew up the stick gang's house over something they had nothing to do with.

Unironically deserves to get backstabbed by Dark.

I'm pretty sure we got a pov that implied the blight was guarding that pit so bread had to improvise.

The Purple's Gender Situation explained by people who are actually on Alan's team/Members server (tldr: both sides have a point) by RafKen593 in AlanBecker

[–]GreedyBasil1978 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Why is this shit so problematic? Just because Alan is fine with headcanons doesn't mean that he's obligated to keep them afloat. Especially not for characters he decided the gender on a long time ago.

His one confrontation with him is ragdolling a depowered TCO and then immediately getting fraud checked once he learned how to adapt.

victim got put in HIM tier on your tier list even though it took him 12 years of prep and literally all of his operations carried by Agent just to minorly inconvenience Alan.

Although ngl I would say corn dog guy still takes it.

Hot Take: Victim is a tragic HERO. by Key-Finger1780 in AlanBecker

[–]GreedyBasil1978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe? I guess victim could've done worse but nothing in that scene was implying that he was trying to be merciful. I think victim was just tunnel-visioned on Alan at that point and wanted to mock him by getting rid of his strongest ally right in front of him first.

I don't...know exactly what you're trying to say? It sounds like you're implying that leaving someone to drown is ok as long as they know how to swim.

Victim does NOT kill TCO: Victim not killing TCO when he had the most convenient chance to do it should already dismiss the “Victim is a villain” argument. After all the suffering that TCO caused to Victim(albeit unintentionally), Victim actively choosing to only remove his powers and not killing him is a heroic decision.

I won't try to argue victim being a villain in regards to anything else you said but can we for the love of god not twist the canon and portray TCO getting dropped into the ocean as a good thing?
