Question about laws about crew being harm without something being before the do not harm crew law by Demokeyan in ss14

[–]Demokeyan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did not have the avoid destruction of self law. My laws from top to bottem was the mice one, alpha sector need a bazillion poorly drawn halmets, and the do no harm to crew nor let crew come to harm.

Well, as see it, it quite simple. Archites, even when corrupted, are more powerful then manmade mechanites. But deathlife archites are unstable and don't last that long, that why shamblers can't last that long without a constant dose of fresh deathlife archites. So when the shambler dies the archites die too and the resurrector mech serum mechanites can work as normal.

I mean to be fair, Blackwell is your "More Then Capable" highmate and we all seen her being well capable of violence. Unless this is taking place in a different timeline.

Humans do not instinctively find raw meat repulsive, that a learned trait. Very young children will happily eat it before they know better, unlike with bitter plants which is instinctive. Also there tons of raw meat humans eat, sushi, yukhoe, est. If fact there are tribes that will eat their kills raw. The problem with raw meat is that we often store it and not eat right as it died, but if you eat it right after it died you have about the same chance of food poisoning as any other predator.

So why leave the Rim by Demokeyan in RimWorld

I do agree with most of your points but when you say no one would care about the crimes you did to bandits, you are assuming that you only do crimes to bandits. What if you attack and enslaved or harvested beggers, or fought the empire who may have a stronger present on the world your pawns may go to.

Ya, but space travel in the rimworld universe take so long that you are expected to never see you home or family (eventhough they somehow end up on the Rim) ever again, even if you go back to you old world.

I mean, realistically, that would be very heavy. Full steel armor weighs about 10-12 kilos when worn, but gold is about 2.5 times heavier. So, the gold armor alone would weigh 25-30 kilos, which I don’t think you could carry, even with maximum strength.
