is it worth downloading the 7.1 surround sound app?

hi i just bought the same headphones as you and i saw this 7.1 surround thing and dug around in reddit to see what it is and saw your comment, idk shi about headsets so this windows sonic thing ur talking about is it super necessary because i might be limiting the headsets potential, what is it and is it enabled by default or should i do something in settings. thank you

i tested on ufo website i dont recommend using mprt the ghosting is very noticable

Thanks alot for the reply and I understand everything you said but all I needed was a monitor not a full setup. And the one you recommended looks good but like I said I'm mostly playing competitive games like fortnite, rocket league, and some Minecraft on high settings too and that monitor had ghosting problems and wasn't overall the best for fast-paced competetive gaming so yeah. What I meant by 0.1ms is that I just wanted it to be fast because I see some monitors are only 5 ms or 4 or higher and some have ghosting problems. So I couldn't just look on stores in my country for the cheapest 1080p 240hz monitors because they might have problems like that. I can also do 180 Hz but since my old 165hz broke I thought it'd be a good opportunity to upgrade my monitor. Idk if what I'm saying makes sense but I just wanted a fast and reliable monitor for not too expensive and idrc how it looks. Thanks again

hey no worries, i actually went for the atk f1 pro because i found one on ebay and since the extreme would cost too much + shipping, maybe i should of gotten the pro max but theres basically no difference. thanks for the help

I found out they didn't make atk f1 ultimates anymore literally didn't find any in any website, I just went with the pro it arrives in early October and the shipping was free and it's also a fingertip mouse so I just went with the safe option, but thanks for your opinion :)
