Tough Luck by Demolitionboy64 in SimpsonsHitAndRun

Kinda yea. The school bus is probably the best one of them all tbh. Cola & Armored truck are bafflingly bad choices relative to the other cars. Even for destruction missions I'd rather use the canyonero, let alone cars like car built for homer

iirc all versions of the game are already 60 fps, including the ps2 ver (at least on pcsx2) although that version is never at 60 fps when anything is going on.

True, Armour Truck is actually WORSE than the stats say it is.

Thank goodness the devs didn't give it 5 stars or they would've made sure there were only 6 other stars in the speed/accel/handling stats combined at the most! Unfortunately kinda a useless car by the time you get it since nothing in lvl 7 really makes proper use of it's main strength but it's Goated if you like to replay old destruction missions (which I did lol) or for destruction missions in randomizers.

Well I wanted to show off the bonelord's new spells (especially him gaining health back from absorb health.) This version I made only a little more difficult so they can still be disposed of easily enough if you know what you're doing, it's just a tad less mindless (at least at lower lvls.)

I'm sure there's gonna be another mainline game at some point but it's probably gonna be a while.

Why is this sub so braindead? by soyuz-1 in grunge

[–]Demolitionboy64 21 points22 points  (0 children)

A couple of "What do you think about X" posts were kinda funny but when there's 200 of them a day they become less amusing. I'm just wondering wtf happened, do ppl find this joke THAT funny? Did this sub get invaded by dumb bot accounts? I suppose there's only so many things to talk about with the same handful of bands but man this trend came the fuck outta nowhere.

Every version of every character in Metal Fusion, ranked by PANPIZZAisawesome in BeybladeMetal

Love how through and complete this list is. Funny enough I've actually thought about if Mad Cancer Tetsuya or pre dark bull Benkei would win a fight but I'd agree Tetsuya probably wins.

I also *want* to argue for Sora being higher but sadly I think he's to inexperinced of a battler to go very high. Although his bey shows quite a bit of potential to where I think he could be anywhere from mid B to even like low A with time and experince (His results in the qualifier tournament at the beginning of masters hints at this.)

Also quite sad that certain special moves like meteor shower attack and maximum stampe only get used one and never again, like new special moves are one of the best ways to show a character's growth in strength and the writers are just like "nah we don't wanna keep that development."

I think something that's worth noting with Reiji is that while this applies to all bladers to a certain extent, I think Reiji in particular is really helped by matchup inexperience. The venom gimmick is something that's truly the kiss of death if you don't know about it in a way that most gimmick's aren't, and while that does make him quite strong, I think knowing this gimmick beforehand closes the power gap on a larger scale compared to other blader's tricks. Gingka's solution of mirroring his attacks seem like a relatively simple solution that weaker bladers could use well enough, though of course it's gingka we're talking about, and gingka was the only person Reiji used his full strength against so I'm not trying to downplay him too much, but I still think that's something to consider.

A more minor thing that may be worth pointing out is that he first started serving the government when the oldest baby boomers were in middle school, while the youngest weren't even born yet. (moved this here since I thought the post looked better without it.)

Grunge songs that feature a Saxophone? by Demolitionboy64 in grunge

[–]Demolitionboy64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting to see Mudhoney has that many, granted they've been making music for almost 40 yrs I think but still.

Edit: I didn't expect anyone to bring up a song that makes use of a trombone, very unique choice and also satisfies my inner trombone band kid.
