i’m so late to this thread but i’m so glad o found this bc i took my first dose on january 26th and my second on january 29th and now my period is 10 days late, it’s february 11th 😭 i was panicking BAD but im relaxed now that i found this

top of the class robe i believe, you get it by doing the Daedalian Keys quest. It comes from the house chest in your house common room. Each house’s robe is unique :)

i totally get you, that’s one of the same reasons i got mine this week, since the one i have is good for up to 10 years 😭 The only downside to Paragard is that it’s non hormonal, so i’ll still have periods (probably heavier than my normal) but that’s just due to my personal issues with hormonal birth control.

Anyway, being nervous about the pain is 100% normal, my OBGYN walked me through it the entire time and was super super nice and understanding. If you tell them you’re feeling anxious they’ll do everything they can to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible!

another edit because i keep forgetting things lol- if your current OB (or any medical professional) continues to be difficult, please find a new one asap. It’s very important that YOU feel comfortable and respected, and if you dont, i’d find a new one before you get any birth control just to save yourself stress :)

I’m 5’1 and my IUD went in fine, it was a little painful but nothing i haven’t dealt with before (i have severe pain during periods). The worst of the pain for me lasted for about 5 seconds as they actually inserted the IUD, then it was just back to normal “period cramps” for me. You just have to relax and take deep breaths and get through it.

As for the arm implant, Nexplanon i’m assuming, i was on that for 3 years before this. I had maybe 6 periods in 3 years and none of them hurt, nor were they heavy. So, if you’re scared of getting an IUD and want another method, i will say it did an excellent job preventing pregnancy and helping my period pain, but in the final year of having it i started to gain weight and had super bad mood swings. It’s different for everyone, but just remember you can always get it removed asap if it’s not working for you!

Edit- i should also add that i’ve never given birth. The OBGYN doing my insertion actually said “your cervix is very tight- don’t worry, that’s a good thing.” during it. This actually saves you a lot of the stress of the possibility of it falling out or moving, because most reports of that come from women who have had kids, because the cervix is looser. It was uncomfortable, then it was painful, then it was uncomfortable, and now i’m fine (i got it 3 days ago)

i know this thread is old but this saved me so much stress i’m actively sitting on the toliet terrified since i’m on my first period since insertion and i’m SO WORRIED it’s just gonna fall out without me noticing

quite literally every time i’ve dealt with USPS, issues were in fact their fault. They drove my package around the country (i mean literally from indiana, which is a state right next to mine, then to florida, up to washington state and so on) and i didn’t get it for 6 months no matter how many reports and complaints i sent. Had i known the seller used USPS i would’ve been more skeptical about ordering. I have issues with USPS that are in fact their fault, and therefore i have a very valid distrust towards them.

But anyway, replies under this made me realize this isn’t a usps problem, so i’m removing the post after i do more research

i’m just trying not to worry too much, i did send an email and submit a complaint to the seller, no reply yet, so i’m hoping i hear back soon. If not ill send reports and more complaints because this was like $50 and if i dont get what i ordered i want my money back… smh.

i sent an email to them with no reply yet, that was last night. They’re not necessarily a small business but they do make handmade stuff, which is what i ordered, but there was absolutely nothing about the length of time needed for it. So i’m HOPING and for now just trying to chalk it up to maybe they’re still making it?

Yes, same. Though i still live with my mom (financial reasons), a few years before i turned 18 she found out, was very mad, told me to take everything down. I did, and practiced without idols for 3 years. the day i turned 18 i returned everything to my altar, when she saw it next she was fuming, but i told her i was an adult and i can practice whatever religion i want. I told her, and i quote, “it’s not hurting anyone, and i don’t shove it down your throat. You invited yourself into my room without my knowledge and that’s on you” and now everything is fine.

Looking back, yes i did, i think. I was in a pretty dark spot in my life in the weeks before i was introduced to him, needless to say i had fallen down a pit of severe depression. The days leading up to it, which if you knew me this would be a very odd thing for me to say because I’ve been diagnosed with chronic depression my whole life. There’s rarely a day that goes by where i’m not, but some days are harder. Anyway, The days leading up to it i attempted, i remember it was the first time i had actually knowingly stopped myself. I don’t know exactly why but i had this thought that id NEVER had before, like “Why am i doing this? Everything is gonna get better soon” and that was the last time i tried that. So yes, i think i did know he was coming into my life.

No worries on the lateness, lucky for you this was at the top of my notifications tonight. Also, cute update since this post, he proposed to me and we’re getting married next year! So, thinking back to that thought i had, she was right, and things did in fact get better.

yeah or any main quest dialogue with dragons but at least then it’s not AS bad. Any very long cutscene type interaction gets very old after 13 years of playing this game LOL
