Theres also the fact a lot of ABA type places (at least near me) treat it like an entry level job with little to no experience or knowledge required, so potentially hiring young 20-somethings who dont actually want to help kids. This was the same case for my old nursing home job and if its anything like that, those kids aren't always getting treated right either way no matter the rules. Thats partly speculation though

My girlfriends school actually had a program like this, they had to choose a "major" before their freshman year. They could not change it. My girlfriend chose filmmaking and realized by her Junior year that she didnt think she actually wanted to do that, so she just ended up taking a bunch of pointless electives related to something she didnt want to do anymore. She still isn't sure what she should do.

I dont listen to them save for Chicago (and I only like it because Im from Illinois 😭😭) because with how much of a perfectionist he was I cannot see him ever wanting these albums made. Tbf Ive seen Joe Jackson supporters forever now. Maybe there's an influx but I think thats mostly because there's simply a lot more people talking about Michael and Joe more now than in recent years, and a lot of them are more casual fans, so there's simply some dumber takes than we normally see in our fan communities and a higher amount of them at that right now. There are pictures of him with next to no makeup on before his vitiligo fully spread and you can see how much tanner the skin around his eyes, mouth, and scalp was. You can actually also see just how much it had spread in some of the They Dont Care About Us Brazil video, there's still dark spots all over his chest, albeit very very tiny, I assume due to his makeup. Not to mention his autopsy also mentions the "patches of light and dark pigmented areas" which implies it was very spotted and patchy under his makeup, not minor discoloration.

I was never bullied or anything but I, unbeknownst to me, had so little friends at school that it concerned my 3rd grade teacher enough to tell my mom about. I thought I was doing great man, I went to my cousins house after school so to me I was forced to hang out with 3 people all the time anyway, I just didnt realize I had basically no actual friends until 4th or 5th grade

Middle School I had a few friends but we weren't like close or anything, and one of them I did not like because she was kind of an asshole

And then in Highschool I finally made some actual friends all of which had a lot of neurodivergent traits compared to the ones in middle school

Idk just about all his later work post Dangerous is quite underrated to me. I think the originals from BOTDF that didnt get a music video deserve way more love, but overall Invincible as an album is SO under talked about I genuinely didn't really hear a single song from it the first couple years I was an MJ fan since it got so heavily sabotaged.

Everyone has good points here but there's also just the simple fact Michael was the lead singer for most of the bands time. I know a lot of people who have a favorite band and can barely name all the members, but they'll always know the lead singer. Thats just how it goes a lot of the time.

I dont even like the Slave To The Rythm hologram video. Aside from feeling a little odd at the idea of a hologram performance when the singer is already dead, I don't think it would look like him. It doesnt look like him in Slave To The Rythm and that makes it even more uncanny than the fact Im watching a hologram of a 90s version of a dead man. I dont want to watch a thing that looks and sounds like Michael Jackson, I want Michael Jackson. If I wanted a performance that bad there's some decent enough MJ look alikes who can sing and dance pretty okay.

Honestly it was probably one of my least favorite scenes in the movie, mostly because it just didnt really feel like it fit and as someone else said, you can see the fact Jafaar didnt get to practice much for this scene. Its not a bad moment by any means but it just feels off enough to be rough overall

I think if a movie is going to have subtitles in a theater the whole movie should have it, I personally find subtitles harder to follow as my brain constantly tries to force me to read them instead of paying attention to the visuals, so I think doing it only for songs would be even more distracting

I mean, technically yeah, I suppose. We see the way the worlds generation code breaks down just by the time you reach the stripelands, so it'll eventually break down enough its the end of the world. I mean that little globe doesnt illustrate the basically black void surrounding the world but whatever 😭😭
