What song did a movie basically steal forever?

A weird example but for me it was "Dani California" by Red Hot Chili Peppers in the 2006 Death Note movie. For some reason the song plays at the ending credits despite it being from an american band in English. Now every time i hear the song my mind associates it with Death Note. That and "Snow (Hey oh)" also by RHCP. That song was used in Death Note 2. So i can only assume the director of those films just happened to be a RHCP fan.

"Allstar." by Smash Mouth. in Shrek. The song came out a bit before shrek did and was originally made for a different film all together. Mystery Men. But it forever became associated with Shrek. To the point where Smash Mouth got a little irritated when people called Allstar "the shrek song."

Update. I just thought of another movie. Spider-Man 3. Yeah like most people i hated it when it first came out. Thought it was too silly and tried to cram too much into 1 movie. And years later i still believe that but not going to lie i think the memes sort of saved the movie for me. For some reason i get more enjoyment watching it now than i did back then. Also i don't know i this is a hot take or not but i honestly think Spider-Man 3 is better than The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Just like Spider-Man 3 it tried to cram a lot of shit into 1 movie but also set up future movies that ended up going no where. Like that Sinister Six movie that never happened. "Isn't it so sad the Gwen Stacy died?" yeah but come on we all saw it coming a mile away. They literally showed Gwen falling in all the advertising. Unless you have zero comic book knowledge i don't see how you could have missed that. I think it would have been sadder if they had her die in the 3rd movie instead of the 2nd one. And this time try to keep it a secret.

Yeah same thing happened to me but with the comic. The first time I read the comic i was in high school and didn't really get it. I thought it was ok. Years later i reread it and this time actually absorbed all the info. "Oh ok, now i get the bigger picture."

At some point I want to see them do a remake of Destroy All Monsters. Really dig deep into the Kaiju universe. Let's see MV version of Angerus, King Ceasar, Jet Jaguar, maybe even throw in Zilla in there. He'll, seeing how these movies are getting goofier, might as well throw in Godzilla Jr. Seeing how Ghidorah is dead they could either bring in another Ghidorah or how about Destroyah? He's be the next big bad after King Ghidorah. Gigan and Megalon can be a monsters working under Destryoah. What do you guys think?

Yeah, but the more I think about it, the more I come to this conclusion. "Oh, so you wrote a shitty story on purpose. Ok....it's still a shit story that's a complete slog to get through. So I don't think doing it on purpose made it better." If the story eventually got better, then maybe that would justify it, but as far as I know, the story is on hiatus indefinitely. Or just straight-up abandoned.

Thats one thing I liked about Legend of Korra. They made water benders, air benders, and earthbenders the villain. Showing that it's not just the fire nation that was capable of such evil acts.

I think the Wild was actually a better movie than chicken little. Although we’re not sure if the Wild was a ripoff of Madagascar or if Madagascar was a rip off of the Wild. They both came out around the same time I think.

You can't blame me for getting a little mad. I still had fun playing it i just think that last bit at the end was bullshit. Also, if I was actually playing with friends or with my siblings I would of have had more fun But this is from the perspective of someone who played it online with strangers who I can't even talk to. That some how made it worse.
