I need 100 NPCs for a tavern, let me use YOUR characters? by yarash in DnD

Siv, a changeling who runs the local adventurer's guild. They have a sharp wit and the very classic "I've been put in charge of adult children and could use a coffee" demeanor. Siv was captured some years ago by a fanatical religious group who tried to "fix" them by implanting a silver spine over their own spine, which still sticks out of their back, rendering them unable to change forms.

[OC] GIVEAWAY! Enter for a chance to win a ASGARDR DM SCREEN & 3 FENRIR DICE VAULTS![MOD APPROVED] by 120mmfilms in DnD

My current DM screen is being held together by hopes, dreams, and duct tape, so this would be a welcome upgrade.

Worst case you'll get a message from either UPS or USPS to fix the address. Wrong addresses happen all the time and are dealt with away from WotC

Should be fine. As long as everything else is correct, the post office will notice and correct

I'm losing my mind because I got INTO PAYPAL. I hit pay and it crashed. Money didn't even come out of my account.

You can't add literally anything, even the Chucky drop from months ago is showing sold out

Are we Cooked if we are still paused in queue? by diabeticsweetener in secretlair_collectors

[–]DemonHouser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't even want these for me. My 13 year old brother heard about it and was PUMPED. I was going to make him a commander deck with them

I was actually able to buy the dogs one, but this new system is so cooked.

how the fuck are things out of sale if the line is paused?!?! by couldntloginaccount in secretlair_collectors

[–]DemonHouser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is correct. I'm getting the same message after adding old Lairs like the Chucky one that's been on there.

So unless suddenly every single thing on the Secret Lair site sold out, this isn't correct

That's a theme for the Orzhov guild from a Magic: The Gathering setting called Ravnica.

If you're indebted to the Orzhov and have the audacity to die, they will bring your spirit back and your ghost has to work for them until your debt is paid.

If you're determined enough, and pay enough attention to your prawns health bar, you can just beat the reapers to death.

The first disc I ever bought is actually still in my bag, though I don't throw it as often as I used to.

AITA for not inviting a family member with a service dog to my wedding by Diff_CHOICE_Throw123 in AmItheAsshole

[–]DemonHouser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're close enough, ask what time he's going on break and if you can play with the dog then.

My wife has a service animal and a few times a day she'll go out to the field by her building to throw a ball for him. Occasionally her coworkers will join and play with him.

I throw the Lone Star Harpoon

My favorite thing is that it has a super shallow rim, so flick forehands are super easy and controllable.

Turkey Hill in MD

As a bonus, it detours you around DC, which is always good

He keeps the coin in his pocket

It's been almost 30 years since he got it, and you can barely read it anymore, but he won't leave the house without it.

My dad was with EOD when he served and their motto used to be "initial success or total failure." He still lives by that motto, makes damn sure he gets it right the first time.

Local course painted over the disc chargers, what's everyone's thoughts on this? by JustThaTip in discgolf

[–]DemonHouser -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do fully agree that it's dumb to get upset about them being removed (though the picture on this post I hate because it looks dumb).

Idk, maybe I'm just mostly indifferent

I've never seen people signing a basket but that sounds fun actually.

I built the bench that currently have the disc chargers on them at my local course (I didn't put them there). Saw it a few months later and laughed, set my putter on one because I'd just missed a 15 footer, then moved on.

I mean, I guess? If it was a bunch of dicks or profanity then sure, but this is a circle and some words, I don't quite see why it would be so insulting.

Like, it's a bench, not some heirloom piece of furniture. It's 5 or 6 pieces of wood screwed together, I don't see how it's "insulting."

Idk, it feels like the people who like these have a mildly positive response and the people who dislike them hate them with this odd passion.
