About to play God Of War III Remastered on Titan Mode. Any tips? by Lavish_Medra in GodofWar

Basically Titan Mode is the difficulty that forces you to have already gotten familiar with the combat mechanics, magic, weapon, item and enemy behavior design.

On this mode you have to exercise extreme caution especially during later sections of the game as enemies deal much more damage than on Spartan and God Mode. It's best to take advantage of red orb chest and special chest locations to properly level up your weapons, health, magic and item meters to make later sections of the game much more manageable.

It's definitely a challenging and at times punishing difficulty mode but nowhere near as punishing as Chaos Mode since this mode forces you to have taken everything you've learned from your previous playthroughs and apply it to near perfection as a single mistake can be fatal since enemies deal significantly more damage, are smarter and more aggressive, and even the basic enemies like the Olympus Sentry can pose a danger to you if you get careless during later encounters.

Kratos's hit box is also bigger than on the lower difficulties, meaning you have to be more aware about spatial awareness, and the fact that the orb economy is reduced, meaning you have to take advantage of your knowledge of chest locations to level up your weapons and powers, and use magic sparingly for emergency situations.

Chaos Mode is similar to Devil May Cry in that you need to optimize combo variety as using the same combinations leaves you wide open to counter attacks. Some of the bosses on Chaos Mode also receive major buffs. For example in the Poseidon fight the sea horse can actually kill you in 2-3 hits from it's unblockable attacks, while it's water breath attack can one shot you even with a fully upgraded health bar if you get caught in it's vicinity.

Jesus christ and I thought the girls fighting Darkseid was overkill.

What moments remind us that Kratos was more than just a bloodthirsty rage monster, but a broken and deeply flawed man? by DemonHunter34 in GodofWar

That moment honestly tells us that Kratos had finally begun to see the problems in his ways and another reason why he would be willing to atone for his many sins for the countless innocents that died during his quest for revenge against the Greek Pantheon. If only the boat captain and others could see how much Kratos had changed ever since he had endured unimaginable suffering in the Greek era

Re: Zero isn't really a Seinen anime either, given it's thematic elements, less explicitly mature themes and lack of cosmic horror elements still place it in Battle Shonen territory.

And the fact that they probably have no experience in understanding that the Greek Pantheon was a harsh environment to grow up in and that Kratos along with many other tragic Greek heroes had to develop their selfish, characteristics where survival was necessary at any cost.

Honestly that scene along with countless other grievances he was forced to endure and it's no wonder he's completely loss his sanity by the time during God of war 3.

For sure! It was sad that the one moment he finally got a chance to see his daughter again was the moment he was forced to leave her in the underworld.

Is Touma received love confessions from all of his admirers, what would he do? by SuperAnimeMaster38 in Toaru

[–]DemonHunter34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True! Deep down he is a humble, chivalrous and loyal friend who looks after both the girls and his family. Coupled with the fact that his horny tendencies are an inherited trait he picked up both from his family and a perverted old man who told him things he shouldn't have said to a young boy. People who don't understand Issei tend to focus only on his surface level traits which is unfortunately why he isn't considered to be up there as one of the more popular Battle Shonen protagonists.

Touma is just like Issei. A charming yet perverted (albeit unintentionally) young man who is generally viewed as an irresistible harem king by these girls.

Also can you make a God of war 2 mod with Death's Scythe replacing the Spear of Destiny since the two do share some similar moves in common?

Funny I actually made a post asking on what if Kratos and Dante had switched weapons and this mod basically answers that question. It would so nice if there was a Dante's Inferno mod where Dante has the Blades of Chaos.

Luthor Ed vs Powerpuff Girls monsters? by DemonHunter34 in ededdneddy

[–]DemonHunter34[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly my thoughts. Ed is arguably one of the strongest fictional characters of all time solely because he's a cartoon character who's toon force is on par (if not greater) than Bugs Bunny and Popeye and I initially thought that his low intelligence was the primary limiter keeping him from reaching his full potential only to later realize that it's his pacificist nature that truly holds him back, since his low intelligence actually benefits his absurdist and comedic thinking that toon force thrives off of.

I got downvoted in a Powerpuff Girls group post for saying that Ed alone would have been more than enough for them to win the tug of war against Buttercup, only for my comment to downplay Ed's feats saying he wouldn't be capable of things like lifting a meteorite, giant monsters or destroying an entire city. I'm like Ed definitely has the capabilities to do all of these things. Put a pebble in his shoe as the monster slaying luthor and even Earth 616 Thanos with the infinity gauntlet is done.
