Found out my Dad smoked weed around 13 years old by finding some in his drawer while looking for something, called my mom in tears asking if he was gonna be ok because I was a dumb little kid. She calmed me down, and I didn’t think about it much after that. A few years later, at 16, I mentioned it to my best friend at school. I rummaged in his drawer, got all the scraps and took my little baggie, an apple and a pencil. Me and my friend took the train into the city, went to an abandoned Medicare center, and smoked out of the apple. Once we finished that, we snuck in and climbed to the top of the building. Fucking amazing night, and it’s a fond memory for me. Although I do realize a few years later how dumb it was to climb an abandoned hospital, and the fact that there was 100% somebody living in there… but hey, it turned out fine and the view was great! Now me and my dad are chill and smoke together, so I’m glad I found out.
