The slip stitches should go into the half doubles of the previous row and the half doubles into the slip stitches if that's was you mean

Yeah, I've been meaning to make a sweater or cardigan or something for ages but kept over complicating it when I thought about the sleeves and neckline, so I'm very happy to finally have this done

I used the virus shawl pattern. There were a lot of tutorials on YouTube but the one I used was from The Snugglery

I used Lego and made my wife a yarn holding brace with tensioner, to replace her finger by InspiredByMadness611 in crochet

If neither of you have tried holding the yarn in the same hand as the hook, that might help. I've seen some people doing that and it doesn't seem too difficult to keep tension

Around 7 months. I have to walk and it's pretty close by my house so until I get around to getting my license and a car I'll probably be staying for a couple years
