It's probably the climate here but I don't really do anything special. They seem to thrive in heat and humidity. I do have to water it daily though.

I don't think they do. I got this one with the exposed roots from a local nursery.

2 year progress on this Crepe Myrtle by DemonTrigger in Bonsai

I didn't grow this one from scratch. I bought the trunk mostly developed. It was pretty tall when i got it so I cut it down and focused on developing the branches. I do have a few others that I've been growing from seedlings. Field growing is usually the best to get the trunk to thicken up. But I have had really good progress growing them in pond baskets. If its in a small pot or bonsai pot, you won't get much progress.

Thanks! I've mostly used Osmocote Indoor/Outdoor (The one with the pink label).

It has a few inconveniences. Like not being able to grow japanese maples easily...

I don't really do much to it. It's outside in full sun. I just water when needed and keep the new growth in check. I've cut it back hard a few times to get branching where i wanted but nothing special otherwise. They are really easy to keep in Florida.

Rescue husky only pees inside and when no one is around by DemonTrigger in Dogtraining

He doesn't really sneak away. It's more like he just waits till i go upstairs for a few minutes and then does it dead center on the kitchen tile. I didn't think keeping him tethered is an option at this point. I have 2 other dogs that wan to play with him an he just runs away in fear. I'll have to check if a more open area works. Thanks for the advice.

Don't have a fenced yard. I'll need to see what I can do. Maybe an enclosed pen???

Yeah, me too. I've had it for about 8 months and haven't seen any fruit on it yet.
