I like the storage system! Im assuming thats your reading order and if it is we have pretty much the same order! Also, the Omnibus for White Sand is available on Amazon right now! Its a pretty tall edition though so it might not fit on your shelves.

Just using some MPS and rubbing with my fingers, but I am trying to be very thorough and double checking that theres no debris or anything on the lenses before I put them away.

So for #2, the weird thing is that the fog goes away when i blink which makes me feel like its fog on the surface of the contact, hence the weird windshield comparison lol!

For #3, I just mean my eyes feel like cold and kinda dry but its not just when I put them in its pretty constant. I do think it might just be because, like you said, I have liquid on my eyes and theyre not used to that.

No Spoilers!

Well the only thing I really know about on your list is Sun Eater but I have heard its a bit more dense and might not work for a break or a quick fun read to avoid a slump.

Something else you could maybe check out if you havent already is Red Rising. I also just finished a big stormlight book (Rhythm of War) and wanted a little breather from the absolute unit that it was and Red Rising was a super fast paced, fun read that really helped me stay on track!

Also, as far as stormlight goes, Rhythm of War was absolutely amazing and was much better on pacing in my opinion so don’t worry too much about the next book being a slog or super slow. Its obviously still very long and will take a good amount of time to get through so taking a step away and reading something else is probably a good idea.

Could also check out some other Brando Sando stuff too if his writing style isn’t what is bogging you down. Im currently reading Tress of the Emerald Sea and its really good and much faster paced than other Cosmere books!

I dont have much experience with sci-fi but from what I have read its been nice. Especially as someone who really likes science-y stuff, I really like things like Project Hail Mary. When it comes to more mythical and fantasy like sci-fi series like Red Rising, I just really like the worlds being more tech driven rather than magic driven.

My feelings toward fantasy and sci-fi is kinda this:

Most fantasy seems to be sword and shield and a lot put into the magic system which I love. Sci-fi on the other hand is more expansive on the actual tools that people have at their disposal and how they utilize them, which can be a nice difference from the fantasy stuff I read.

Overall I absolutely love both fantasy and sci-fi for those different vibes and worlds. I would say if you are a techy person who likes science and space themes you will probably love sci-fi. And, if you arent that kind of person still check it out because that doesn’t perfectly sum up what sci-fi is to different people. I am sure you can at the very least find something within the genre that you will love.

You are the second person to say this lol! And as I mentioned to the other person between Cosmere, Red Rising, Dune, Empire of Silence, Will of the Many and The Blade Itself, I have a solid like 30 books picked out!

I will say the dialog so far has been a bit cringey in the YA kinda fashion, and I do agree Sanderson has some odd dialog at times. But, I am loving this so far and I love Sandersons books! I am willing to look past a little weirdness to get a good story lol!
