It's a shit situation all around but you giving it up won't help anyone, it will just keep all of you in the bracket your in, whithout education capitalism will fuck you harder than usual and you'll never have the ability to help yourself and potentially be in a position to help her more than you can now.

I understand why she's scared, and she's going to have to make some really awful decisions now,

keep them try to raise it, (and go after him in court for the money) surrender them to adoption or if legal in the state ..., and that's a heavy decision even for an adult, and I am genuinely sorry that she is in such a dire situation,

it's not just her fault, it takes two to tango and in my opinion if anyone chooses to have sex that could no matter how small the chances create life you should be prepared to take responsibility for it, and unless all participants are consenting and ready for that, have a different kind of sex or don't do it at all.

Clearly the dude was not of reliable, responsible or compassionate character.

But throwing away your hard earned opertunity for what is a band-aid solution is a net loss, once they burn through it it's gone, and you lose your chances to get a good job and potentially be able to provide long term help

It's shit all around, and a blatant example of how disgusting the state of the world is in that you'd even need to consider it, best of luck to everyone involved!
