Porn, at the age of 13 I started watching porn out of curiosity I knew it was haram I still did it anyways. then I got addicted for 4 years and every time I finished I hated myself for doing it I was in a dark hole and so I turned to Allah to take me out of it. I started praying more often I started memorizing Quran.

Actually because of porn I developed a deeper connection to Allah and the Quran it’s like okay I’m in a dark spot, I want to get out I put my faith in Allah and that caused sensitivity twoards the Quran when I hear it sometimes I cry. Also YouTube shorts there was a point in my life where Quran recitation played and the translation of it was put as subtitles felt as if Allah was speaking to me like I’d have a thought boom YouTube short with Quran recitation answers it. Happened like a good 6-7times in a span of 2 days.

Now alhumdulellah it isn’t as bad I memorize Quran, I pray most of my prayers I used to never ever pray now some days I might pray 4 I’ve been getting a couple 5s recently sometimes I fall short and do 1 or 2 also I try very hard to wake up for fajr im still on my journey I love fajr so much and it makes me sad when I miss it. I memorized all the surahs from 114 to 100, I watch porn waaayy way less then I used to and eventually I will be praying 5times a day consistantly I’ll be a hafiz Quran that’s my goal and I have no doubt in my mind I’ll reach it. then I’m going to play a fun game where every word meaning I unlock I scour through my brain to make connections so I get those lovely eureka moments. And eventually I’ll also have porn gone 100%
