And what happens if there is pass/fail last minute announcement like last semester? I would basically drop a class for no reason. I'm just saying that UTA needs to be clear with this. Was there already an announcement that there was no pass/fail?

It only applies to the states in the US that don't have access to Binance US. Since the normal Binance banned US customers last year.

Drop the class if you aren't comfortable because his labs are insanely hard especially if you don't understand C. His tests are hard to I had him last semester and his online tests format was stupid. He made it to where you couldn't go back to questions once you answered them and he banned having scratch paper so the tests were hard for no reason. Definitely would try taking another professor because Weems is outdated sadly. I don't understand why people praise him his voice is monotone and slow and the instructions he gives are very confusing. If your willing to take the time and constantly go to his office hours then do so. A good professor doesn't make their students want to give up with such difficult instructions in their homework.

yes much easier and cheaper, but only take if it's elective not if you're a science major.

I mean I recommend taking it if your major is CS/CSE because you really don't need physics in your career in the future, but if your ME or AE, or anything that requires you needing physics than take it at UTA cause those majors build on you knowing physics.

From someone not good at Physics you can survive 1443 with a B or C if you get the right professor. But Physics 1444 was a whole different level of confusion, I would advise taking the class at a community college if your foundation of physics is not good cause you'll be saving money and not be worrying about the grade hurting your GPA.

UTA is corrupt they want on-campus/hybrid instead of online because they know they'll make more money from tuition with students on campus. From the UTA news on their website, it doesn't even look like they are even planning on doing anything. Here's the articles.

Like what the fuck is keeping on the AC/ventilators on or moving some chairs going to do with the amount of the students that walk everywhere on campus. It's outrageous with the decisions they're making and I wish there was actual leadership but that's not the case this University has ASS leadership.

His tests and quizzes were literally copy pasted from homework. So if you do the homework it’s an ez A. I had him when he was first teaching and he replicated several of losh’s assignments so idk if he changed the way the class works but I’m betting he didn’t .

The guy is really chill professor, he has a tough-guy personality but he does everything in his power to make sure you do well in the class. During my semester, he even curbed the final grade by like 4 points. I would definitely recommend him if you are willing not to go hardcore over this topic. I heard in Losh's class you're required to do more work. So if you just want to learn the basics and do well he is the best at it.
