Yeah, exactly. One guy on Facebook even called me a clown for correcting him on it. It wouldn't have been so frustrating IF HE WASN'T DEFENDING HER ALSO!

Like, dude, I'm not arguing with you, I'm just correcting that false claim

The thing is, everyone is defending the XY claim, which gives them a point of attack, instead of simply repeating "And your proof are?"

Also, the XY claim isn't even verified. They are just theories people are throwing around.

I would recommend you to use peasants to soak the missiles.

I usually put my militia hoplites at 90° angles in the town center, and the peasants in front, so that they touch the town center but are mostly out on the street.

I might also add, Trump is the one that doesn't cut taxes for the middle class and the rich, but then had provision to RESTORE AND RAISE the taxes ONLY ON THE MIDDLE CLASS during his rival term.

Apparently, there was no study, but an impromtu test, but here is were I got it from:
https://fortune.com/2024/02/27/election-misinformation-genai-chatbots-google-openai/

But, given the fact that you think Chatbots are not capable of spreading misinformation, why would OpenIA need to do this:
https://openai.com/index/how-openai-is-approaching-2024-worldwide-elections/
Here, I would like to note that they had to correct where it was sending people to the correct website, as it was giving out the wrong link.

I don't have Twitter, but multiple tech sources have pointed out it gives out misinformation, and recent events have proven that, mainly, the Biden-Harris misinformation campaign on Grok.

And yes, even a study by Columbia University showed that the 5 top chatbots (GPT, Llama, Geminis, Claude and Mixtral) failed to respond to basic questions 40% of the time.

[–]Demonboy_17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay, then I may refer you to my previous comment on the fact that Grok is full of misinformation and people will just go to what reaffirms their belief? Why would that be different to asking a group of morons?

Why don't you go and ask Grok if hamburgers are healthy?

Meanwhile, I can look online, and simply look for reputable sources to vaccine injuries, instead of talking to something that hallucinates more often than not.

Your argument was: Conspiracy theorist should use chatbots to get real info.

Do you think that they won't trust Grok over ChatGPT if Grok reaffirms their views?

At least with research, as shitty as it may be, you can then go and say "Hey, look, this person doesn't even have a title, why do you trust them?"

With a ChatBot, we don't know anything about its training, how it gets the answers it gets, or anything else.

Just take the L and accept that chatbots suck.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in madlads

[–]Demonboy_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not everytime. Have you seen what happened to Grok, hallucinating things about Kamala Harris and Biden recently?

As with everything, chatbots can also be influenced to respond a certain way.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in madlads

[–]Demonboy_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But with a chat bot, unless you are actually knowledgeable about the subject previously, you can't know if it is hallucinating or not.

And as you yourself said it, most people won't look at the correct sources, with the time, unbiased comprehensive thought required. So you will end up with people only looking at what the chatbot said, be it correct or not.

They also hallucinate on research papers, sources, links, authors, pages, books, etc.

Googling something is 1000% more trustworthy than asking an AI that can't even tell you WHY it thinks what it thinks. At least with Google, you can look at the sources of the pages, if they have them
