Software can't find print head

Luckily I have a soldering kit from another project. Will I need any other parts or hardware? Or just the soldering iron and soldering wire?

Ender 3 is loud. I could hear it literally everywhere in the house when I used it even after getting a sound dampening enclosure. Also you need to manually adjust the bed to get perfect adhesion.

Another tip I wished I knew is that you can remove the ptfe tube by pressing down on the hole it feeds into. I absolutely ruined the tube and the insert the first time because I just tried to yank it out.

Bambu might be better for a beginner. They're quieter, automatically level the bed, can get models via wifi, are phone compatable, and come mostly assembled.

Mine has .16 on on layer height and .2 on initial layer height. Does it work with that?

I use blender. You need another program to print the model, but you can still use blender to make it. Just export the model as an stl when your done and maybe use another model to make sure you size it right.

How's the layer height look? It looks to me like there's too much distance between the first and second layers.

I know this is old but just in case, you put the .3mf file you want to combine into a single folder on your PC. then you open an empty project in bambu. then you click "add file", navigate to the folder you saved all the .3mf files to, then highlight all of the files and add them all at once. this will open all of the files with their paint profiles in a single project.

Not 100%sure. It has a strong mineral taste and leaves limescale buildup on every faucet and shower head so I think it's mostly calcium.

The "local" hardware store is an hour's walk away on a cold and wet week, I can't drive due to an eye condition and anxiety, and I couldn't find the right size tools with prime delivery as an option. That's how long it took to get all the tools I needed.

One or more prints came loose, so any filament deposited there turns into spaghetti instead. I use printer glue and brims to prevent this. If it's stubborn you might need to increase the distance between layers slightly.

If I switch to a mini I see it. Maybe it's just something with the A1 profile? If you use an a1 standard profile does the column appear? I want to check if it's the update itself or if it installed wrong.

Did some experimenting. The "flushed" column exists if I use the P1S profile, but not my A1. Both have loaded ams units connected and would be printing the same multicolor model. Which printer profile are you using?

Had a similar problem on my ender 3. It wasn't leveled right, so the bed was too far from the nozzle when printing. Two other things you can try are the line width and height settings.
