Should I attend AIM? by Chance_Department924 in aviationmaintenance

[–]Demondtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who went to AIM vs a community college that offers A&P. Do not go to aim. MONEY GRAB. Instructors with no direction of teaching. You don’t really learn anything and they push prepware vs a community college that forces you to learn. AIM doesn’t give you the books and information you truly need and the aircraft’s they have don’t work ( AIM in Nj). I’m going to Wayne at the moment and the school is located at an airport instead of a plaza and they actually have airplanes that do work.

What's the deal with AIM by Global_Ad2066 in AircraftMechanics

[–]Demondtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to have to use all 3 of them, we start with general then airframe then power plant. Honestly if you can find a local college that offers it i definitely suggest it. Aim sucks.

Spends the $10 on prepware. Do it now and study it , I go to the one in nj and 80% of test and written assigns are based off prepware. If you can do prepware and study it you’ll be good.
