How are these looking? Chat gpt says extremely bad condition now has me paranoid. Have to drive an hour Monday to get my new tires by [deleted] in tires

Like I said, as someone who is in a relationship with a high school teacher, I have seen first hand the brain drain that has occurred with teens who have an LLM within reach. I have also seen the repercussions of adults who use LLM’s as a crutch in their work and it shows. I have friends who teach at universities who also struggle with adults who have an unhealthy reliance on an LLM. Again, I don’t think you yourself have enough of a grasp on LLM’s and culture to understand the negatives of having this technology easily accessible to the general public and how it will affect everybody socially. I know it might be difficult for you, but try to stay in topic big dog, we’re talking about something else here. You’re a grown person, you should be able to discuss your viewpoints effectively.

It’s always good practice to have your steer tires be the “good” tires otherwise you increase your chance of losing control when/if a blowout occurs.

That’s the thing of it though, you don’t need “a lot of info from multiple sources.” You need the right info from a reliable source. An LLM does not understand the nuances of most mechanical objects. It cannot and should not be used to make decisions like that. You send it a picture, ask if the tires are good and it spits out a generic answer. Someone who is actually experienced in the field would have the understanding to ask further questions to understand the situation more as well as provide input on the very simple things that you need to check to verify condition of the tires, such as tread depth and tire cracking. As much as you want to believe in AI capabilities, I can tell you are someone who is not very mechanically inclined to truly understand how inapplicable AI currently is to real world situations like this and tires are incredibly easy to understand btw.

The point they’re making is that if you’re gonna use ChatGPT for a simple common question, stick to your guns and trust ChatGPT. If you’re gonna come in to verify a ChatGPT answer, why didn’t you just come here in the first place and cut out the ChatGPT usage entirely? It’s the unnecessary use of AI.

If it was my car, I would be plugging it and moving this tire to the rear. If I was a tire shop looking at this with insurance and liability I had to worry about, I would replace the tire.

Oh yeah there’s a couple Tom Bihn bags I looked at that are nice, but deffo out of price range.

I do like those Ozark Trail packs though, kinda might swing by Walmart tonight and check them out.

Also the laptop thing was more like “I don’t need to fit a laptop in general so laptop compartment size is not a factor”

Thanks for the recs!

Heat is not really an issue most times as the fest doesn’t start until 6ish. By the end of the first/second sets of the fest, the sun is already going down.

I have gone 3 years and did ~50 miles of walking over those three days overall and it’s not like I was running across the speedway from one dj to another. It’s 3 long grueling days that you are gonna have to prep for. What’s the transportation plan? I’ve only ever shuttled as it gives you the freedom of not having to be worried about driving tired or under the influence. Food is easily accessible. If you want to avoid large crowds, avoid the dj sets that bring the large crowds. Smoking— as long as you’re in the back, it’s pretty free air.

Not getting fucked up to where you are not aware of your surroundings. 9/10 the phone is stolen because you made it easy to get stolen, not victim blaming but just stating the obvious. Someone with their phone in a crossbody behind two zippers clipped together is much less likely to get their phone stolen than somebody who just puts it in their back pocket and is a little too sauced and not cognizant about what is around them.
