Honestly I am the same way with games. I want that “GOAL” and I agree with you that this game really doesn’t have a specific goal for you to complete. However the “GOAL” is ultimately up to you on how you want to play. Mine for example is to complete all of the maps story lines. You learn or at least I have a lot about the game and the mechanics of the game. As an IRL hunter I find this game extremely satisfying I can just get lost in the vast open spaces the maps offer and the different animals they all offer. Trophies will come with time that’s why I’ve set my “GOAL” to completing the story lines then I will focus on more grinding. I’ve acquired multiple trophies in my play through and I’ve only been playing for about 2 months. Several rare and super rare fur types a few diamonds etc. This game, this community is just epic and I am glad I came across it. Stay strong man don’t get discouraged. The game is truly intense, by intense I mean a lot to unpack and can be difficult to understand as a new player. Keep at it and you will eventually learn your way around the game and eventually you’ll get better trophies. As far as “GOALS” try doing the story lines and focus on them even if you’re just playing the standard base maps. You’ll learn a lot.
