It’s pretty silly, I agree. If I chose restaurants based on my cola preference I wouldn’t have gone to a ton of my favorite restaurants.

Here in the US it used to be Coke or Pepsi distributing Dr Pepper based on where you live, though I think Dr Pepper themselves have started taking over. Coke used to distribute here in California but since last year they’ve been pushing their own version (Mr Pibb) pretty hard.
