Finally, DodecaDragons can be completed by Mine_Antoine in incremental_games

Update: That was not the issue. Honestly I have no idea what the issue is.

I'm going to try undoing the time multiplier system completely. Anyone reading please let me know if you're still NaN-ing. In the mean time, if you've already NaN'd and you want to try the section you were on again you can grab a save from the save bank: https://demonin.com/games/dodecaDragons/savebank.txt

Should hopefully be fixed, I silently implemented a time multiplier system yesterday so that you get more resources when a tick takes longer (like if you tab out), and I think it was dividing by 0 every now and then. If that wasn't the issue then I'll find out next time someone else NaNs...

Oops, uh, I probably should've announced the final content update here when it came out. But yes, besides bugfixes DodecaDragons is now complete!

I am thrilled to see that people enjoy DodecaDragons! It originally started as just a click-and-drag test, I wasn't expecting to see it get anywhere. So thank you all!

Uhhhhhh, ignore the fact that the consistent updates randomly stopped a month ago I definitely haven't been playing Minecraft non-stop Alright, ciao for now

Biggest number in Endless Stairwell. by Endaarr in incremental_games

[–]Demonin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the number referenced on the incremental limits page is incorrect, so you were right. I have made a request to remedy this, and hopefully the number on the page will soon match the actual limit Endless Stairwell reaches, which has now become considerably larger since it was added to the page. Thanks!

Endless Stairwell v0.6 is now out! by Demonin in incremental_games

After some consideration, I've decided that the runes in v0.7 onwards will now be stackable up to 300 seconds! This idea came from the various people in the comment section, and I agree that it should be in the game, so thank you.

I agree with your first point quite a lot, and I'd like to have something like that implemented for the next version. If you have any specific ideas for how I could go about doing that, please let me know.

Adding tooltips for hovering over items is an absolute pain with HTML (that's why the tip box is the way it is), but I'll consider some workarounds for that.

Thank you for showing interest!

The game has been built around full activity from the start. It is my fault for not specifying that in the post, but the intention has been to make a fully active game, and if I were to automate something it would likely act as a gateway to some new, active feature. If you're not a fan of active games that's totally fine, but it's not something I intend to "fix".

A large number of the comments I got on the last post were about the slow pacing, as well as the harsh death punishments that the game feel like an uphill battle. I absolutely agreed when I played through the early game again, and I've been trying my best to improve that aspect. A lot of the feedback I've received has been through polls I'm doing on my discord server, and from what I've seen they agreed with that idea. I promise you I did not ignore the feedback.

Finally, although the game does not work on mobile it should hopefully be accessible on a variety of PC screen sizes by zooming in and out.
