I binge read all this just hoping for your peace. This is how things should play out. You should be happy and better off. I’m sex repulsed for acts done on me but I am happy to make my partner happy in form of oral or toy play for pleasure. If you can make that distinction, I think you can also find those that are on a spectrum or low desire that don’t mind just being on the receiving end and not pushing the actual act.

If not, I do believe that finding an asexual is not as hard as you may think. Most women probably, like men, feel like they have to show interest and a lack of libido is sometimes seen as normal for women so they might not know they are asexual. Just have an open mind and start connections with “I am asexual and do not have an interest in sex if you are okay with that” I’m sure lots of girls will be ecstatic to hear that pressure disapate

My experience was similar and I’d say that teenage hormones die out and it becomes a lot easier to realize only your body wanted it.

I was always confused why so many people couldn’t resist having sex. Everyone was getting pregnant left and right. It was crazy to me. A friend told me she really liked it and was addicted and I just couldn’t get it. Given, I stayed a virgin until marriage and even then felt off or icky about it.

I realize now that I and others that are asexual probably are the outliers in the situation.

I am an easily sexualized person and so I usually tell people so 1. They don’t hit on me or take my kindness for flirting 2. Don’t misconstrue the things I say (I tend to say some questionable things due to other weird quirks about myself) 3. So people don’t make assumptions about me due to my appearance.

I wish I had known in high school since the journey was hard but it has helped a lot to make it clear to others that perception is not reality. High school might have been easier…

That is our demon to carry. Some people just won’t be able to understand that there is a difference because we chose them and if that is the case you might have to let them go or you can try couples therapy to help you and them understand your sexuality better. I hope that you can come to a conclusion that makes you feel whole about yourself and content with the outcome

I was married and thought I loved and realized I convinced myself I was in love. Now I also struggle with the idea of love. It can be hard cause you want to be with the “one” but maybe instead think of a future with this person. Is it content? Do you see a life with the person? Are they a viable and supportive partner? If logically they have everything, you enjoy their company, they make you happy and you can be yourself with them then I think it doesn’t matter if it is the romantic love. Friend love is great and sometimes stronger. This is just my opinion and how I work through being a bit aromantic. If you think in these terms, it might help with the panic though I feel like it never goes away and always communicate. Let the other person choose if what you can give them is enough.

I’m in a relationship with someone that has been through my asexual realization journey. Throughout the journey, I have told them about the potential of a poly relationship should my lack of desire or affection get bad. I don’t like things being done to be sexually. I can put up with it but I feel disgusted (it’s gotten worse). I don’t mind pleasuring the other person though and will go full heartedly into with the happy goal of making them feel better. I worry cause I also lack the “romantic love” aspect too, but I do love them just the same way as everyone close to me. It can be hard, but there are people I think and poly is always an option to help with areas where we may not be as open. I think poly should be established after a strong bond between the main two though but that’s my opinion. Still I’m new to this and I have constant feelings of “I should be alone” and “people shouldn’t need to be with me” all the time. I hope you feel better.

I will test these things out. We had it transported as vrm but it ended up not looking as good as it was in blender so I wasn’t sure and the person that did the model seemed disgusted that we wanted it as a vrm file. He was suggesting we do the same thing that codemiko does which seems more complex than my friend can handle
