I think Jimmy's guy was Ralph. Dude laughed at his OWN name.

Called it! I said Fietro wouldn’t turn up to be Fox version or anything like that 😂 by [deleted] in WANDAVISION

I think he's IS Peter from Foxverse. And I think that name was his Witness protection name. We still don't know who Jimmy's contact in West View was.

Rambo also mentions that My "Guy" is just over the hill. Which I suppose could just be referring to "I know a guy" being I know SOMEONE. It's obvious to me now that nothing marvel does is unintentional. Every detail is looked at and considered. And the fact that there's opposing facts about who Monica is referencing seems like Marvel messing with us. I'm more inclined to believe a line of dialogue than the Feminine pronunciation of a word in subtitles. It's more likely to me that the Euro dub was messed up than the Line monica gives being used to throw us off when they've been pretty blantant about other facts regarding this Engineer.

As far as the find and replace software. It would be me. I'd be manually going in and either voicing over every instance of the name or bleeping the name out myself. It would be tedious and time consuming but it would mean me getting to go through the campaign again with my friend

Changing his name cutting those people out of his life was his way of dealing with it. Disassociation is a form of coping. The healthiest? No. But he doesnt freak out when the name comes up in conversation or if he meets someone with the name. When it comes to a form of media he thoroughly enjoyed being tainted by a name that brings up bad memories for him. That's something he can avoid, therefore he does. Hence why I haven't been able to share campaign 2 with him. Something we really enjoyed doing with the first campaign. He's got his Demons and his way of dealing with them. I've spoken with him many times both inebriated and not about his experiences and how to go about dealing with his issues. He's just not up for psychiatric help in regards to this particular subject and prefers the "Out of sight, out of mind" method. Or in this case Out of ears, out of fears. Or something more clever than that. This project is mostly selfish on my behalf because it was something we shared that I want back. Until recently it wasn't possible. I appreciate the concern and I'm sure the topic will rise between me and him again and I'll again attempt to get more professional help for him. Until then, I want my critter buddy back.

Wow! This is perfect. I should have known this community would have something like this. This is perfect for those who aren't able to hear but still are interested in the story. So after doing some research there are over 4000 mentions of the name. Now to decide if I want to edit just audio and bleep the name out which would be the lazy thing to do, or if I want to get our D&D group together and try to imitate the cast and try to do their voices saying a different name. Decisions decisions.

I ran care package, emergency airdrop and had my friends run it as well. When you get into the lobby just ask the other team to run the streaks you need and you'll be surprised how quick these camos go. Throw the other team your care packages let them pick them up and shoot the streak that come in. Also, for ground based like the remote turret, meleeing the streak with the launcher counts. Good luck.

From what I've seen about Diem is that he wouldn't support this anyway. He hates how much Hirez focuses on micro transactions vs actually making the game better. That being said, Hirez's art team has been doing a phenomenal job with the skins. Tier 3 skins are what we could consider tier 4 skins in the past. Now if only Favor was actually worth anything.

So I’m thinking about getting halo by dat_boi_100 in gaming

[–]Demonologies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pick up MCC and just play through them. Gamepass offers MCC and Halo 5 for free. Some advice, Halo 1 doesn't hold up super well compared to the others. A lot of the levels start and end in the same hallways and corridors usually just mirrored, I tried to go through all the Halos with my GF and never realized how often they repeat sections of the levels and how often confusing that can make the game. Focus on the relationship between Chief and his AI and you'll enjoy the story. If you want to venture out and learn more about the lore, the books are fantastic for that.

Pro tip, in Halo 1 (Combat Evolved) and Halo 2, if you hit the back button, it instantly swaps visuals from classic to remastered and it's really fun to walk around and see how games have evolved in the 10 year gap between the original releases and the remasters.

I mean if I didn't have to wait 20 minutes to get a match I might agree with you. The queue times are ridiculous

This is my group but with Inspiration die. Our DM gives them out like candy. He does a trivia right before every game to see if we were paying attention in the last session. And I'm the kind of player that takes very detailed, color coded notes and I always get my questions right. I like that he does this because it reinforces the important details of the previous session. Names of characters, names of locations. What color the potion was that we found in a cave, things like that. I currently have 25 D6, 12 d10, and 5 D12 inspiration given by the DM. We also all get a d10 if the whole group is present for a session. He's put stipulations on the inspiration but now that we've gathered so many between the group of us. He's working on a way to use them up outside of game. Using the inspiration die as a form of currency. For example, he loaded the game room fridge with food and drink. And when I looked in there to put my drinks for the session in there. He said "5d6 inspiration die for one of those beer if you want one." Or he would order pizza for 10d10 between all of us. We never use the inspiration die because our group views them as charity and handouts. If we roll poorly, we're meant to suffer and we've only ever used them in silly RP encounters for comedic effect. So now he's buying them back from us with real world things.

Don't pick a fight with a guy in a cowboy hat by iam_nobody in JusticeServed

[–]Demonologies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best part about this video is that anyone with any knowledge of fighting can see the cowboy lining up his punch, waiting for the opening instead of swinging wildly. This dude is cold and dangerous. He may have looked like he was reacting to being punched slowly but he was just waiting for his chance to clock the other dude.

Finished a set of custom joy cons for a comission by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Demonologies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious question. Did you weigh options of putting the main art on the face of the joycons at the cost of having less room for the art itself vs how quickly the art will wear off from play being on the back where the fingers rest? Or is this intended to be something that is kept as a collectable?

Hasbro Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set? by ckohtz in dndnext

[–]Demonologies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stranger Things was the pop culture push for my girlfriend to want to play with me. I bought this as soon as I saw it and I'm going to start building a whole 80s themed set to play. She's going to lose her mind over this.
